hi sparkles i only watched the first like 5 minutes of this film so i cannot recommend it but i will watch it soon and make an honest review. I would like to think that this is as good as the marked ones but i cannot come to that conclusion as i did not watch it all i remember was seeing a horse and that symbolises Jesse who is the best character.

So, bloggers, I'm going to be so real with you; I didn't watch it at all. In fact, and I'm going to hold your hand whilst I say this, it was so boring I couldn't even stay awake for it. Do better next time guys, I'm in disappointed and you don't want to make me disappointed. The only saving grace was that Jesse featured in all his horse like glory but even that couldn't save this atrocious movie.

I will keep this short and sweet. Overlooking the franchise this always comes in the middle of lower of many list. This one really amped up for me. There are so many quality jump scares and intense moments. It works the connection between the 1st and 2 film.

Never really proves its necessity, but is enjoyable enough nonetheless, "Paranormal Activity 2" brings some new scares to the table, but is overall more of the same.

Paranormal Activity 2 is very similar to the first for me the characters are an improvement over the first this is a prequel to the first which I like I just want them to show Katie's past bc that's the most interesting story that hasn't been explained yet this one actually got me like cabinets which one was one of them the ending is kinda silly but that don't bother me there is still no score which hurts these two movies with the score but the ending was good its interesting of what it sets up hopefully it doesn't go really bad where its unwatchable but overall I prefer this to the first 77%

worst 1 hour and 30 minutes wasted of my life this movie has a not well thought out plot and horrible character intuition. it’s also incredibly boring and feels repetitive and honestly there are some parts that just make me laugh like when christie was being dragged into the basement by the demon. But I will have to give it some credit for making one of the most profitable movies of all time as there was a 15k budget with a profit of 193m and the idea of lost footage like the Blair witch project (in my opinion way better) now it can be scary if u watch it at night because doesn’t really give the feeling of a normal horror movie so it can kinda convince you it’s real.

Some mediocre scares. Story makes sense when you’ve seen all movies but other than a story line, movie was meh.

2010's 'Paranormal Activity 2' was the first sequel to the hugely successful 2007 film, and the real start of the Paranormal Activity franchise. SYNOPSIS: 'After experiencing what they think are a series of "break-ins", a family sets up security cameras around their home, only to realize that the events unfolding before them are more sinister than they seem.' Surprisingly for me this film is a direct sequel to the first film, if not actually running along concurrently. It appears the next two films will also continue this story before veering wildly off into different directions. It's rare that a sequel actually works in a way that it actually makes your view of its predecessor better, but this film absolutely achieves that. The lore around 'Toby' looks like it's going to be very interesting moving forward and will set up more dramatic deaths and action scenes. As per the first film the supernatural effects are superbly delivered and perfectly. In another scenario you'd definitely believe what you were seeing was real. Effectively creepy to set up what's to come within this story. 8/10

As the intent is to make a franchise the movie is overburdened with exposition and retcons. The security camera addition is a good idea in theory but it raises questions about what we get to see and when.

Spooky movie that's great for Halloween

Paranormal Activity 2 continues the found-footage horror with some effective scares, but it can still be slow-paced, making it another polarizing entry in the franchise.

The most classic Paranormal Activity movie to me, if you like the series and havn't seen this one, its a Must Watch.

They try with all their might to tie this to the first movie but forget that it needs to be its own movie, acting is too forced and all the scares are re-used from the first movie, the only good addition to this movie is the dog.

Really boring, it's just video camera footage for most of the movie.

This is kind of like a meanwhile at her sisters place. Both of them have had haunting since they were kids. This could have been better as well. Not much happens for more then like half the movie. It makes it pretty boring till then.
