Featuring two—maybe three—of the most likable stoners ever captured on film, Pineapple Express turns the stoner comedy subgenre on its head. Seth Rogen, James Franco, and Danny McBride form a trio unlike any other. At the heart of the movie's drugged-up laughs lies a rather touching story about friendship. The shenanigans reach a fever pitch when the climax explodes into an unconventional confrontation of humorous violence.

Some people may say that this movie is "too much pot humor" (this is a direct dig at you "Deborah") and not enough regular humor which I find ridiculous and over critical I mean of course the people saying this are critics but the main character starts as a completely unlikeable person and several run ins with death result in his character change and sober and high this movie was funny most jokes aren't weed based like some people seem to claim first of the few jokes are just based around the main character being an asshole and awkward situations I mean sure a lot of jokes are based around weed but that's what's the movie is about if you don't want pot humor don't watch it if you watch this knowing you don't like pot humor you shouldn't be critical of that that'd be like watching something labeled "John Mulaney best moments" and you hate John Mulaney that's why I personally don't trust critics reviews. I'm sorry this review seems way too long and just overly critical of critics I've never made a review of something I actually liked this much so idk I'm sorry

Exactly what a good clean fun stoner movie is supposed to be. Stupid movie varsity level!

This is one of my favorite comedies of all time which is appropriate because one of my fave shows was Breaking Bad and favorite drama has been The Departed. If you can laugh at the craziness of drug plots, you’ll enjoy this silly and outrageous movie.

Dale Denton and his drug-dealer Saul Silver finds themselves on the run after Dale witnesses a murder by a dangerous drug lord, spurring a flurry of drug-induced fights and some over the top violence. With the impressive chemistry of its two leads, this underrated crime-comedy manages to leave its mark on meth-heads everywhere!

Absolutely hilarious !

Pineapple Express is like Cheech and Chong with guns. It's great. The ultimate stoner-action-comedy. Seth Rogen and James Franco were literally born to play this duo. The improvisational moments are very very clear which leads to some clunkers but also so absolutely hilarious bits. It's high time you watched this movie.
