honesly the movie is pretty fire but even though i am sixteen i am really squimish and movie is great if u looking for some reeeeally graphic shii, againn very graphic plus the plot is a tad shallow otherwise its not bad bjt not exctaly my fav

'Piranha 3D' does attempt something a bit different to the film it remakes (unlike the 1995 redo) and parts are decent (e.g. the gore), though all things considered it's not a movie I'd wanna revisit. It isn't as concise or as fun as Joe Dante's flick, the effects aren't the most convincing either. The 3D portions are funny to see all these years later (in 2D, obvs). I was never a fan of that format, so I'm glad it never stuck around - pure gimmick. Going back to the effects, the piranha's usage and design underwhelm. I also said this in my review of the 1978 flick's sequel, but: less is more. The cast are alright. Elisabeth Shue is the clear standout, her character is actually quite cool in terms of what she does and how she handles herself; not a female character that is only there for their looks, like most are here to be frank. Elsewhere, Steven R. McQueen is solid too. Interesting to see the involvement of Kelly Brook, someone I know from her work away from film; smart casting, to be fair. Away from those, Jessica Szohr is decent, though Jerry O'Connell is rubbish. Adam Scott, Ving Rhames and Christopher Lloyd also appear, Richard Dreyfuss too. It is better than the other 'follow-ups' to the original and I didn't find it to be absolutely bad, so I guess it merits small praise for that. Still, not one I'd recommend.

Filme bacana, o roteiro é mais ou menos, o filme não tem uma história boa, e também tem nudez, tem muito sangue e tem cenas meios mais ou menos, cono a cena tem um festa no meio do mar com barcos e boias e as piranhas começaram a atacar cada pessoa tirando ossos, partes dos corpos e outras coisas, as cenas de cgi das piranhas quando atacavam ficaram ruins, mas mesmo assim, eu meio que recomendo esse filme só por ser sanguinolento.

"Piranha 3D" or the "Piranha" movie from 2010 if you watched it in 2D like myself, is trying to be an over-the-top and fun movie. I could see what it is trying to go for here and at times some of it almost worked. That being said there is a lot of filler in this movie that makes it kind of a boring watch and I found myself just waiting to end at one point. I could see how that if back in the day I saw it in 3D, that could have been a fun gimmick, but it is still a bad movie with really unbelievably bad special effects. Again, maybe looking bad is part of what the movie is going for, but I never could take it seriously. Overall, it is a bonkers horror movie with comedic elements that have some silliness that is enjoyable, but is mostly a chore to watch and kind of just gross and boring rather than scary or thrilling.

I think the main purpose of this film is not to be taken seriously, because if it is taken literally, it is disgusting.

Only good thing here is some high quality T and A.

Bad movie, bad cgi, bad trama, bad writing, bad acting, even though it had some good actors (Elisabeth Shue and Adam Scott)

Movie seems to rely on tits and ass as even that side can't save this piece of garbage

One of horrors blatant money grab remakes

Great cast (although most are limited to cameo parts) and a more than decent killer fish B-movie. Some decent gore, special effects and plenty of gags. Enjoyed this horror comedy much more than I expected to. Kids shouldn't be watching this anyway but just in case be warned that there's quite a lot of boobs on show.

Piranha 3D is a movie I hate. It's a movie for wankers, man, what a garbage movie. I can't enjoy it, the acting is terrible, the piranhas aren't scary at all, the protagonist is unbearable, those kids are boring, that adult movie by that director I forgot his name annoys me (adult movie inside that movie), I can't understand why the critics like it. I end my opinion with a score of 4/10.

It's basically a soft core adult film with all the blatant nudity. The best actors are reduced to cameo appearances. It's a B movie with a budget akin to films like 8 legged freaks or Evolution. The characters are fine but most of them are there just to be eaten. It's not scary at all just gross. Go rewatch Anaconda or better yet Jaws.
