A disjointed but funny look at a fictitious, blue collar, Polish American family, Polish Wedding manages to be enjoyable due to its winning cast and charmingly buoyant aura that permeates the film.

Writer/director Theresa Connelly gets it right her first time out. She's helped by a good visual sense, a wonderful score, and strong writing that highlights her obvious love for her characters.
