In my opinion, I felt that the movie was very good, behind all this, the filmmaker was able to come up with the right festive details to congratulate the members of the behind-the-scenes team.

Is this a really smart satire or a really offensive comedy or has it not made up its mind about which it wants to be?

This movie is a true work of art. It is offensively hilarious and is full of dark satire that will make you uncomfortable and think. They just don't make movies like this anymore.

As per usual Christina Ricci was amazing. The only thing I didn't like about the movie. Was the amount of times they said the R word. I have a disability, so that really bothered me.

This movie is awesome & romantic. It kind of reminds me of me, and because I have a disability and that is Asperger's syndrome. I wish I find some as sweet as Christina Ricci. Plus, she's and amazing actress then & now. I also like when she played in the Adam's Family movies.

you don't see too often. Christina Ricci actually does a very good job in her acting. The music score is a bit different - several songs taken from NFL Films. Some scenes are quite forced. But the movie held my interest and didn't make me turn away. So for that reason, the movie has staying power.

I was very surprised when Pumpkin, a movie that a lot of people don't seem to like, really made a big impression on me. Maybe it was Christina Ricci's powerful and complex performance? Maybe it was how well the film juggles between sad melodrama, vibrant romance, and biting satire? Maybe it was how it dealt with Pumpkin's disability, without making it too "inspirational" or sappy? Whatever it was, this movie really struck a nerve with me in the best way possible. It's emotional without being stupid, and holy crap Christina Ricci is cute. But it's more than what you'd expect... Pumpkin is honestly like nothing I've ever seen and definitely deserves a higher Rotten Tomatoes score.

Incredibly underrated movie. The storyline is fantastic. Acting is great. The tone is slightly weird and slightly offsetting which fits perfect. The only critique would be some of the scenes are a bit too fake, the acting is almost overdone. Otherwise very enjoyable film. From start to finish there is not one dull moment.

Is it satire or just awful?

just saw this for the first time and completely loved it. It was so off beat and it was was great. There were a few funny parts but I really wouldn't consider this a comedy at all. The few funny parts were funny because they were ridiculous. .I also liked that.

Over dramatic score, over acting, insane plot points. This has to be a dark parody. Damn this was weird....
