This movie talks about the attitude of dealing with a person in pain with no way out. There is maturity that embraces the hardships of others without sympathy, comparison for self-comfort, or other self-interest. It would be a miracle to be able to have such a person around. Adam Sandler in this movie is as amazing as Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine.

My favorite Movie. The way PTSD is depicted is so heart warming. Who knew Sandler could be this good?? Im hooked for life. You will laugh, cry, & SMILE because of this very touching movie about REAL FRIENDSHIP & SUPPORT 💘

One of the best Adam Sandler movies a true gem

May well be the best performance Adam Sandler has ever given. Gripping, mystic, not many films bring you to tears and keep you drawn to the end. Love the supporting roles, very believable.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This film has now got to be one of my top 10 possibly maybe Evan top 5 but all I know is that this film is really good! This shows the audience that Adam Sandler can play dark and serious roles as well as his comedy roles and I think that is what makes it so good because we are used to laughing at Adam but now we get to see this serious side of him and how amazing of an actor he really is! The story was perfect and it caught my attention as well as my feelings. Seriously if you’re looking for a really good sad film to watch definitely watch this one I 110% recommend!!!

Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler give fantastic performances, Sandler in particular as he shows his more serious side. That, along with a touching story, makes for a heartwarming watch.

This is probably the first movie ever to make me cry. It was an odd mixture of humor and extremely serious and mature situations, but it worked. Definitely a movie to watch!

This movie is heart wrenching, funny, and engrossing. Every actor in this is at the top of their game with their performance. The characters are captivating and multifaceted. My husband, who rarely sits through a whole movie, asked when it was over if it won any awards and was surprised it wasn't even nominated.

This movie is heartbreaking because of the reality of real life of family who lost their families on 9/11. Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle played these characters BEAUTIFULLY!!!

An honest and good hearted portrayal of man stricken with grief. With the loss of innocence being a focal point, the film could've gone south quickly. But with sound direction and strong performances from both Sandler and Cheadle, "Reign over Me" stays afloat for the majority of its duration.

It's not the Adam Sandler you know. This movie takes you into the heart and mind of a broken man.
