The Ring Reviews
No estuvo mal, pero siento que podria mejor, hubieron algunas escenas innecesarias o aburridas, el final no me convenció mucho, es un 7.50 o un 8.25 en puntuacion.
Absolutely scary and I love it.
Love this movie. Super scary and unnerving, and is one of the scariest movies I have scene
This movie made absolutely no sense. Don't waste your time.
This is one of the scariest films of all time as far as creepy visuals go. It's not gory so you can skip it if you're into that but if you're into true horrific ghost stories/ mysteries, you'll enjoy this.
Well not necessarily a bad movie, led by good settings and great acting, it's a shame that there really is no reason to watch this movie again. There truly is almost nothing to really say other than it's completely outclassed by its Japanese original Ringu. This does contain a bit more action, as do many American remakes, but it loses alot of the intrigue with much worse writing then the original.
Whilst not the scariest film around this was one of the films that kicked off the remake/2000 mystery horror jump scare trend. Nothing ever really lived up to this one’s success.
The scares almost feel forced and it isn't that scary but it is still iconic and entertaining.
Average horror movie but I still liked it.
The 2002 ring was alright, It's not scary though, I remember I had the ring two on dvd, I enjoyed it a lot, I never saw the 1998 ringu Japanese film, I need to check that one out.
The Ring is be one of the best horror films of the 2000s. Strong story, solid acting, successfully creepy and just as effective on second and third viewing.
I LIKE "THE RING" BECAUSE IT IS INTELLIGENTLY MADE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE, WHICH IS UNUSUAL FOR ANYTHING THESE DAYS!
Gore Verbinski's "The Ring" is often regarded as a classic in the horror genre, but it does exhibit some notable structural problems. The film opens powerfully as a horror narrative, effectively setting an eerie tone that hooks the audience. However, for about 85% of its runtime, the focus shifts away from chilling moments to a mystery or investigative plot, which can disrupt the immersive horror experience. This lengthy setup, while engaging, ultimately leads to a climax that feels surprisingly brief in comparison. Although the backstory is intriguing and adds depth to the narrative, it might have benefited from a more concise exploration, as its dominance over the film’s progression can dilute the intensity of the overall horror elements. In summary, while "The Ring" has its strengths, its pacing, and structural choices could be improved to enhance the viewer's experience of the film's runtime.
I really liked it! The perfect mix of unsettling and scary.
Excelente combinación de thriller y terror, no creo que sea perfecta, pero esta llena de emoción.
The story was interesting but lacked life. Was not very scary but did have its moments. I would watch it to form your own opinion. Not the best movie but not horrible
If you like uncovering backstory and mystery this movie is for you. if you like seeing kills and gore, not for you. I enjoyed this movie, would recommend watching.
meh, put me to sleep. I assume the original is better
This film is average at best, the highlight being Watts’s convincing central performance. It is entertaining for the first half, however, the second half drags on and lacks any more gore or creepy visuals.
