The Ring Two Reviews
There really is almost nothing to say about this movie other then the child is the most annoying, terribly acted, and abysmal characters from the first movie. So naturally, they decided that he should be the main character in the second one. Lucky us to spend so much time with him. Still, directing is competent.
Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, o filme não tem um terror bom, as cenas são fracas, os personagens agora são fracos, e a história é desinteressante, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo esse filme.
As someone who as watched the short rings I do understand the first part but it doesn't add anything to the plot with doesn't make sense either but it is still entertaining.
The ring two is pretty good, I remember I had it on dvd, I had gave it a 5 star rating years ago on Google play movies & tv, The sequel is just like the first remake, But the first is still better.
I was expecting not to like this one, but I did. It was actually pretty good. It's kind of similar to Ring 2, which makes sense as they have the same director, and I liked Ring 2 so that's a good thing. While it was a bit boring at times, it was a very different and unique but still grounded sequel to The Ring. It had some amazing scenes e.g. the stag scene and the scenes with Aidan were always good. Also, the opening scene effectively builds on Rings, the prologue to the movie (not to be confused with Rings 2017, it gets confusing), with it showing the aftermath and how Jake died. Overall, great film. Next up, Rings! Then we're done!
My favourite film of all time. Better than the 1st 🥰
Luckily, it could keep the same feeling of the first film with the help of Noami and the great soundtrack, even with a boring plot(until act 3) and a dull script.
Some of the WORST CGI I have ever seen in my life!
Really good. The acting, the music, it feels like the first film
This one of the best Horror films and the greatest one so far, ignore the critics,.
A big fail. Makes you wonder how they allow to produce this awful sequel.
First time seeing it and it's been a while since I watched the original. Not horrible a bit scary and a bit fun. Not expecting much but it works on levels. Just watch it to enjoy it. It's not a critics movie.
Not as bad as people say it is.
I didnt really like the first one and the second one in my opinion is just incredibly boring and horrible.
is this even a Ring movie??? this feels so disconnected… even to the first american film… this is a level of bad I can't even understand… It doesn't even feel remotely related besides having the short film Rings (2005) sandwiched between The Ring (2002) and this film. Serving as the prequel to The Ring Two (2005)… The lighting was awful, acting was merely a joke, Naomi Watts cannot act to save her life, David Dorfman as Aiden throughout the film is by far the most annoying and obnoxious character… Despite this being directed by Hideo Nakata, I don't believe he had full charge of how the script went, that's mostly due in part to Erhen Kruger who also wrote the previous american entry…. I'm not saying he's a terrible writer but this is a pretty weak train-wreck of a film…
The remake had horses on a boat. This one had deer in a forest. This is like the fifth in the series and like Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985) - they both suck monkey butt. The first time I tried to watch this I got bored, the second time I got further with the same outcome. I finally managed to get through to the end and felt like I had wasted my time. This is a perfect reason not to make another sequel to the remake. This was just one ring too far. The only two redeeming features were the way that they tried to progress the story and they did shock me with something popping up on the screen unexpectedly.
72% the cgi is so bad and the slow motion is super annoying it's no where near as good the first film or the remake either i want more of these movies tho this is one of my favorite horror villains but this movie nothing for the character which is frustrating i like the main character but she's barley dealing with her so it's just underwhelming
While the first movie was always moving at a steady pace the second movie drags its feet to move forward with what little plot this sequel had.
Rings at least makes this film look at good at the first film. The Ring 2 is goofier than the first but still occasionally creepy and even fun.
It's not a classic but it is a better made film than the original so overall I would give this movie a C+
