RoboCop 3 Reviews
It makes the least sense out of all of them, feels neutered in ways the other two did not lack, and falls short of its high goals. But hell, its more fun than two.
Not as bad as everyone thinks. It's an entertaining watch, and that's the important thing.
No me gustó que le quitaran la clasificación C de adultos la historia ya es más mala es peor que la segunda
No! 🤣🤣🤣 come on really!
A total misfire and terrible interpretation of the character of RoboCop. The titular character loses his iconic voice from Peter Weller and is barely shown in full. There's way too much early 90s digital VFX which doesn't look good at all. This movie ages very poorly and does a total disservice to RoboCop.
this movie was a great kids movie and i brought my 4 year old and he loved it after he came out of his room after 2 weeks of hiding
a mediocre movie without a story
Silly, stupid, and downright insulting. And that was before the showdown with the robo-ninja.
Where the hell is Peter Weller?!
I get that this movie is kinda corny but I liked it more than the remake with Gary Oldman in it. I also liked it more than Robocop 2 ... the only positive thing of the second movie for me in hindsight was my uncles handiwork on the art team. He helped animate Cain's 3D face, etc. Robocop 2 didn't even have Basil Poledouris composing the music.
Honestly, I was expecting a complete borderline unwatchable movie. What I surprisingly got was a passable forgettable sequel. This is an improvement over the second in terms of more consistent tone and more focused. The problem is its just average with everything fundamentally unremarkable and its lacking the bite/identity aka the B Movie Charm and Dark Edge that even the second had but defined the first. The characters are one dimensional and forgettable including the villain. none of the settings are that remarkable, and while 80% of the special effects are good there are some like the jetpacks that are laughably bad. The ninja cyborgs are dumb and shouldn't have been in this. Also, I have trouble believing the girl is a master hacker and it was so far farfetched how she hacked the cyborgs right there with no one stopping her at the end. The music is just ok, pretty much a rinse and repeat of the first in terms of the best tracks and the rest is forgettable. There isn't that many commercials in this either. The story is ok but it never generates suspense because we never get invested in the characters including Murphy who doesn't have much arc in this besides helping the citizens. And the fact the action is lacking that identity of the first makes it unremarkable as well. Basic camera work, unremarkable locations that we've seen already, what is unique like the Pimp car chase and the cyborg ninjas are dumb and the other action scenes are just ok. Honestly, I can't really recommend this to anyone because its not worth sitting through 2 to get to this if you haven't already. I guess if you have you'll like this a little better but I'm not sure its worth it unless you loved 2. Most people should skip this like 2. It's an improvement but that's not saying much unfortunately.
not even close to living up to its hype. Yes, it's a tiny bit better than the original, but it's still far superior to the second movie, which I always thought was incredibly cruel. This film feels more similar to Verhoven's original than the second one and has an unexpectedly large amount of heart. Not too seriously, please.
i love the scene there the big robot says eat lead suckers thats one of my favorite scenes ever
This is insulting to anyone with an IQ higher than 60
I hate everything about this movie
F This film is one of the worst sci-fi films ever made after watching the second film this film just felt bad and I will never watch this movie again 1/5
One star because it has one redeeming quality, the line: "My friends call me Murph. You can call me Robocop."
Still better than RoboCop 2 and the remake though. I still think bizarrely the second installment is the worst of the franchise, how did it manage that with an "R" rating and feel more "PG-13", I'll never know. Literally just watch the original and stop there. This one did have some black humor that amused me though.
It's not bad, but it's not good
As usual, the sequel made havoc that stopped coming the 4th.
