My sister and I both enjoyed this movie. There was physical and verbal humour throughout and we laughed out loud heaps, with both of us nearly wetting ourselves watching one scene in particular. Robin Williams is hilarious. Don't really understand the bad reviews.

Did we all watch the same movie? This movie was hilarious, the screenplay outstanding, Story line meaningful, the cast excellent, a timeless classic!

I have not seen a movie comedy with a fairly well developed storyline for quite sometime. Most of the newer movies the comic materials seem forced and incredulous but RV has tapped into some really down to earth relatable and hilarious stuff that comes with a long family road trip with teens and other folks. Definitely underrated but then again Rotten Tomatoes tend to miss lots of marks for me on movie reviews. Robin Williams and Jeff Bridges were perfectly cast for the roles.

Cute movie with Robin Williams to add to the charm. Very middle of the road family story with funny enough jokes to keep your attention.

The critics and audiences need to get their heads out of their asses. This movie was hilarious! Robin Williams and his family were so funny. White boys make some noise!

RV (also known as RV - Runaway Vacation or Runaway Vacation) is a 2006 road comedy film directed by Barry Sonnenfeld 🚗 Not bad, but not my favourite either 😐 Meh, it passed the time. Just. 😐 👍🏼👎🏼 There are some funny scenes… Climbing aboard their mammoth recreational vehicle for a cross-country road trip to the Colorado Rockies, the Munro family – led by dysfunctional patriarch, Bob – prepares for the adventure of a lifetime. But spending two weeks together in one seriously small space has a way of cramping their style.

Not a great movie, comedy was way over the top, jokes are less funny when you are getting punched in the face with them. Robin Williams does his best with this script, but unless you are a 6 year old boy or love this style of comedy you will probably be disappointed.

The usual movie about real values in life, family and love. What makes it stand out for me is Robin Williams and his performance.

This is a nice movie. The best part is Jeff Daniels who gives a grezt performance. It's not the best Robbin Williams movie ever but it' worth of warching.

Bad Comedy Simple as that. The acting isn't good with one dimensional characters. Even Robin Williams can't get a laugh out of the uninspired material he's given. The supporting cast besides Jeff Daniels family who has some likeability half the time have no emotion or chemistry between them at all. The cinematography is the most solid point in this being average overall. The camerawork is actually good with well framed and angled shots but the scenes themselves are dumb half the time rather than being funny, charming or imaginative. The music isn't that good as it is a generic country music tracks most of the time which don't really fit anything. The worst part is the editing and pacing. They are really bad here, once they get the RV it feels like for over an hour of the runtime there is no story and stuff just happens and with no laughs in between this makes this film feel way longer than it actually is. Honestly its sad to see Robin Williams stoop this low with lots of toilet humor in this. It's also sad for Barry Sonnenfeld to see him fall this low as well. This is a horrible plot for a feature film and should have been a 30 minute sitcom episode or a direct to DVD release. Honestly skip this.

Fun family comedy. Good laughs and a fun watch

It's just another lame road-trip family comedy. Robin Williams (may he rest in peace, we still miss him to this very day) is charismatic and is trying to make the movie work, the other family is likable and Will Arnett was entertaining as Williams' self-absorbed boss but overall, RV is an unoriginal, unfunny road film with the rest of the family being boring characters, overused toilet humour and a by-the-numbers "family comes first" character arc that Sony did better with the Adam Sandler movie they released the same year as this film. Williams makes what could've been an obnoxious comedy into simply a mediocre one. If that's not damning a movie by faint praise, I don't know what it is. At least Barry Sonnenfeld's next directorial effort would be a massive improvement.

RV starring Robin Williams is not one of Robin's best. Its a very bad movie where the humor does not land and the gags are silly. Robin Williams plays Bob who takes his family to do a roadtrip vacation on an RV hence the title. During this journey all kinds of silly and crazy situations happen. Unfortunately none of it is funny more like insulting the brains of the audience.This one is not worth watching.
