This is my favourite movie of the franchise. Much more violence than the first. Love the way the movie was done. Hated Xavier though, worst character.

What a great movie. Like, genuinely, this might be one of the first times in my horror movie journey that a sequel to a classic horror movie is better than the first movie. Yep, I think this is better than Saw I. John Kramer properly feels like a schemer and like he's in control of everything. Plus, we get the introduction of the idea that even after he dies, Kramer's methods will be immortalised. From what I've heard about Saw III to Saw X, this idea will be expanded on more. This just feels like the perfect direction to take the story of Saw after Saw I. I can't wait for Saw III to see if it expands the story more. But I'll go in cautiously optimistic. But genuinely, this was amazing. My favourite trap in this movie was the needle pit. It feels relatable and scary and feels like it was tailor made for Amanda - she injected herself with drugs, so she has to find a key in a pit of syringes. It fits well. Overall, genuinely a masterpiece. Next up, Saw III! The finale of the original trilogy!

Saw 2 was not as good as the first one, but I had a really fun time watching this movie. The main character is Detective Eric Matthews and he seems to get himself into a predicament because of his controversial past. Jhon Kramer decides to target the detective because of this past and he kidnaps his son in which he is put in a trap with a bunch of other people. Later in the movie, it is found out that the other people with the Detectives son are the people that Eric Matthews put away wrongfully. There is a slow active gas that is passing through all of the targets airways and they have exactly 2 hours to get antidotes which are placed throughout the house in traps. To sum it up, they end up not working together and most of them end up dying besides Daniel and Amanda. It was found out at the end of the movie, that Amanda was taking up Jhons' spot as Jigsaw after he died. Once the time expired the safe opened in the safehouse, which revealed Daniel in the safe gasping for air. While this is happening, Daniel is in the house looking for his son when he stumbles across a person in a pig mask in the bathtub. He gets to close and she ends up sticking him with a needle in which he passes out. He wakes up and there is a tape sitting right next to him. It is revealed that Amanda was going to be the next Jigsaw and that she was setting up everyone in that whole game. She reveals that Eric Matthews was going to be her first trap and it was very ironic. It is ironic because she left him chained by his foot in the same bathroom that Lawrence and Adam were in, in the first movie. The movie ends with Eric Matthews screaming at Amanda threatning to kill her as she locks him in the dark bathroom. Overall, a pretty good sequel and I can say that I did not predict this ending at all.

Saw II is a good sequel with creative traps decent gore and an entertaining storyline.

This was not bad but the first one was just much better.

not as good as the first, because the last 10 minutes were crazy and out of the blue; however they really opened up a new story line and the first hour or so were very good. We are really starting to get to know "jigsaw" and a few other important characters in the franchise. The gore is top notch, no sex or anything of that nature. Fun traps and puzzles continuation of the first.

My favorite saw and very underrated the plot is very good, the plot twist is excellent, I really like the idea of 8 people looking for a syringe to get out of this alive, and “every man for himself”. And I love John Kramer's character in this film.

I like how it makes a connection with the first saw.

Coming off the success of the first film, this movie has plenty of its own scares, traps, and plot twists that will boggle the mind, while creatively tying it in with the first one. I love this movie and how we understand more about John Kramer and why he does what he does through his conversations with the cops. One of the new characters introduced (Eric Matthews) is both compelling and tragic, and the plot is a roller coaster of suspense and intrigue. Sadly, this is a movie that is experienced best the first time, so please, if you liked the first movie, go into this one blind if you have somehow managed to stay away from spoilers up till this point.

One of my favourite saw movies.

A nota 'tá alta porque o filme é rápido, malemá uma hora e meia. Gosto de quando os filmes se colocam no seu lugar de mediocridade de "eu não sou bom o suficiente para durar mais que isso". Mesma coisa do anterior e dos sucessores: Assistimos para ver como os manin vão escapar da prisão. O plot twist desse não me pegou e, sendo sincera, nem muito o do primeiro. Entretanto, era melhor. O véi já foi pego logo no início e ficou dando uma de vilão intelectual meio hannibal do Paraguai. O cara só o pó e nunca morreu em nenhuma das armadilhas que ele mesmo coloca na própria casa acho uma comédia. Espero que o serviço de compras e entregas de mercadorias da região dele seja bem paga porque ele com certeza usa com frequência. Ai Duda como 'ce é chata ai eu sei Gostei do filme, 'tá. Legal o negocinho de torcer para todo mundo sair da armadilha mesmo sabendo que todos irão morrer. Showzin.

Not my favorite of the Saw films, but it's still great, as is any Saw film.

It's an extremely crude film, where the characters have wormlike minds, they completely stray from the action that a real person would take, it's a terrible sequel, with even worse actors and a worse script.

I don't know why I love people really hate this movie I absolutely loved it.

Right at the start of the movie, you get the JigSaw feeling crazy and I def did forget about that ending always mindblowing every damn time. You cannot mess with John man like he is too smart he got everything always planned out. Its crazy the true meaning was all he wanted was eric to sit down and have a conversation with him...Daniel was right under your nose Great storyline 100%
