Scream VI Reviews
2nd best one of of the franchise
I do love this movie and how they continue on with new ghost face's stalking and killing the friends of the same group of people. Will continue to love the explanation of the rules to survive a horror movie.
Love Jenna Ortega 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
While 5 was able to give a sense of legitimacy (despite feeling like a Halloween 2018 copycat with same format with different characters), this one just couldn't get anymore milk from the franchise cow.
Nothing ground breaking, but a solid slasher film. Better than Scream 5, and the characters did nothing that stood out as ridiculously stupid, which is an improvement over some of these films. A fun watch for any fans of the genre and the original, though you'll want to at least read a synopsis of Scream 5 so you aren't completely lost.
Playing the characters does not allow you to believe in the reality of what is happening. Endless plot, nothing new, silly primitive situations. The movie turns into some kind of bad circus.
Watched this after they announced scream 7. I wish I saw this in theaters back then never paid attention to this when it came out.
Hands down the best sequel from the franchise. Scary, thrilling, gory AF, funny and again features phenomenal performances from Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega. Would have loved to have seen more from the Carpenter sisters but this sits perfectly in the cannon of the franchise and is incredibly rewatchable. Current franchise ranking 1,6,5,2,4,3.
É um filme interessante, mas com vilões bem ruins, não teve um charme ao descobrir o assassino,no geral um filme assistivel
NGL these getting good but how are they surviving
More innovative than Scream five. The story was slightly weaker with a few more conveniences. This is still a very worthy entry in the scream franchise. Good performances and a refreshing new setting and twists and nice re vamping.
Can't beat the original films but it's still a great film that's worthy of being in the franchise.
Even though Neve Campbell doesn’t return. It’s an absolute S-tier like the original but it doesn’t mean it’s better! This is the 6th entry in the Scream franchise and it is amazing! From some of the kills to a whole ass museum showcasing relics from all of the films proving how much Radio Silence or Paramount cares about continuity. However, some cliches and annoyingly dumb decisions drag it down a bit. But I gotta say, a whole family being the 3 Ghostface killers is pretty cool. 9.25/10
Scream 6 is fresh for the franchise, with its urban setting, intriguing arc for our new final girl, handful of suspense sequences and beloved meta film chatter. While the 3rd act is tolerable enough, and I imagine fans will get a kick out of it, for me, it was pretty blue ballsy, following up a fresh structure that was effectively laid out throughout this impacting sequel.
This is another very strong entry for the Scream franchise. It has a LOT more glaring flaws than most of the previous movies, with plenty of writing issues, plot holes, and contrivances, but at the same time, it tells an effective horror story with a great arc for its protagonist, and proves that a Scream movie without Sidney Prescott can work.
It was a very good movie! I really enjoyed it!
Scream 6 sharpens its blades as it becomes even more glorious, continuing the story of Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega’s standout characters from the fifth film, despite Sydney Prescott’s absence which ended up working to shift focus on new characters, bringing the slashes to New York City and delivering an on-edge, thrilling Scream ride and in my opinion, it ranks among my top three favorite Scream films along with the first and fifth. Grading: A-
Amazing story and plot twist I love the actors
Wow. LOL I’m in awe at how soulless and thoughtless modern movies are now. So thoughtless.
