An interesting concept but a little predictable.

This is an absorbing story for the most part. I was able to enjoy it and I think the 18% rating of the critics is stupid. Maybe you'll like it too.

This movie is so bad, I forgot I saw it when it first came out in 2015. Today is March 5th 2024, and it's just as forgettable as I remember. Ryan Reynolds is still trolling as much as Deadpool with his movies.

Very high scores in some sites, pretty low in others. I'm glad I decided to give it a chance. Defiantly worth the watch.

It was fabulous! It kept my attention the entire movie. My only problem with it was it was not long enough, I wanted it to go on and on

Minha opinião: Mais um filme onde o bilionário esta prestes a morrer e faz uma transferência de mente para um outro corpo. Ao estilo Ghost In Shell, Altered Cabon, Corra, Transfers,... Aqui o bilionário Bem esta com uma doença terminal. Até que lhe indicam uma empresa que faz o tratamento de transferência com Matthew, no inicio Bem é relutente a idéia, mas acaba convencido. Pois lhe é dito que o corpo que ele irá ter é jovem de alguém que havia morrido cerebralmente, mas que o corpo esta intacto. Assim é arealizado o procedimento e Ben se torna Ryan. Ele ama tudo que pode fazer, pois esta jovem, mas com sua mente. Mas ele começa a ter sonhos que não são deles e descobre que o medicamento que toma e para restringir o antigo Ryan que era um soldado. E Ben começa a investigar os sonhos e descobre que Ryan tem uma família, se a próxima dela e acaba se apaixonando por Natalie e sua filha. E a corporação começa a perseguir eles. Começa toda a ação do filme, até que ele conta tudo para Natalie. Até que chega o desfecho final. Quem vencerá? Quem sobreviverá Ryan ou Ben? Um filme bem construído, não sei se no futuro será possível tal procedimento ou mesmo na forma de um chip e você pode trocar de corpo e sempre ser jovem ou ser oque quiser. Uma boa atuação de Ben e de Ryan, um filme envolvente que tem a sua dose de suspense. Roteiro: Legal Vale apena assistir? Sim Nota: 7

I was dismayed by the reviews but am so glad I ignored them, this was a fantastic sci-fi action/adventure movie, written to perfection with lots of "hell yeah" revenge moments and a perfect ending!

What could've certified this in obtaining solid approval is by going the other way around unfavorably satisfying speculative cinema. But instead, it intrigues and simply satisfies rather decently while generically fueling adrenaline as obligation by attraction between sudden action and functional thrills with twists building up the stakes. Pretty much an enjoyably ordinary averageness that doesn't go far intellectually, except for how it unfolds rather impressively for engagement thanks to the appealing cast pulling it off as they were weighted down as reliance in ideal deliverance, especially when watching Reynolds' pre-comedic run nicely channeling Kingsley's mannerism smoothly blended with his own. I really don't understand the popularity of Ryan Reynolds. He seems to be used by directors instead of a plot. As for Ben Kingsley, is he broke or something? What is he doing in this half witted mess? Yet another movie that is an utter disappointment.

Dull sci-fi thriller that tries to be earnest at first, but devolves into a standard action movie while telegraphing every plot twist along the way. Also would've been nice to see Ryan Reynolds try to spend the whole film imitating Ben Kingsley. But, alas...

If you're into sci-fi this is definitely a solid film. The premise was pretty cool and, while critics apparently expected more, I was very happy with what happened. Reynolds did an amazing job. All of the acting was solid. Action sequences that were believable and a story with plenty of heart. Critics, as usual, are wrong.

Great concept with a good cast but that is where the good ends and the rest is so poorly done that it couldn't be saved.

J'adore ce film, on voit rarement le coté sérieux/dramatique de Ryan Reynolds, qui pourtant lui va si bien.

Good ideas for the, not executed too well

A – Ben Kingsley pays millions to have his mind transferred to the body of Ryan Reynolds, thinking that Reynolds' body was grown from a "test tube" in a lab. When he forgets to take a special drug, visions, like flashbacks, reveal to Kingsley's mind that Ryan was actually killed to become Kingsley's host. When the new Kingsley tries to make things right with the real Ryan's family, the transfer company goes ballistic. Very tense, well acted and, despite the convoluted-sounding plot, believable on its own terms.

Interesting copy & paste Si-Fi about top 1% wildest dream but as always there are side effects that will haunt hidden in the closet.

I don't get what you expect from a movie? Isn't the purpose of a movie to be entertaining? I loved the movie and I would watch it again, don't look at all this negativity that coming from RT these days
