Sharknado: The 4th Awakens Reviews
When you have to add David Hasselhoff and Gary Busey you have scraped through the bottom of the barrel into the scum below.
Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens - A Storm of Absurd Fun The Sharknado franchise has always been unapologetically over-the-top, and Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens takes that absurdity to an entirely new level. Directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, the film embraces its campy roots while delivering even more ridiculous action, outrageous plot twists, and tongue-in-cheek humor. For fans of the series, this fourth installment is a whirlwind of chaotic delight; for newcomers, it’s an unhinged ride that defies logic and revels in its own madness. The plot picks up five years after the last sharknado disaster, with Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) trying to enjoy a quieter life. But peace doesn’t last long as sharknados resurface in increasingly ludicrous forms—sandnados, lightningnados, and even a nuclear sharknado. The stakes are absurdly high, and Fin is once again thrust into action, this time accompanied by his cyborg wife, April (Tara Reid), and an ever-growing team of quirky allies. The film excels at leaning into its absurd premise without hesitation. From sharks in space to a slow-motion chainsaw duel, every scene seems designed to one-up the last. The visual effects, while deliberately low-budget, add to the film’s charm. The cheesy CGI, coupled with exaggerated performances, creates a delightful spectacle that refuses to take itself seriously. Ian Ziering continues to anchor the chaos with his earnest portrayal of Fin, while Tara Reid’s cyborg transformation brings a new level of hilarity to her character. The supporting cast, including a slew of celebrity cameos, delivers campy performances that fit the film’s outrageous tone. Notable appearances include David Hasselhoff as the ever-heroic Gil Shepard and a host of pop culture figures who gamely lean into the ridiculousness. Ultimately, Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens is a celebration of everything ridiculous and entertaining about the series. It’s not a film for everyone, but for fans of campy, over-the-top cinema, it’s a must-watch. This is not high art—it’s a sharknado, and it’s glorious. Rating: 5/5
better than Sharknado 2 but not as good as number 3. Not enough Nova, and too much references, also to much green screen.
Eh it was alright but idk bro
The start didn’t grab my attention, April is alive which is dumb, but she’s not useless anymore. Corny quotes, Astro-X is dumb, NO NOVA. Worst one so far. The first and third didn’t take themselves seriously, which was where the charm of the series originates. This sucks. The different tornado types were fun though. W Gilbert for hating on April, I hate robots too lil bro
One guy literally dick wacked a shark????
The only one I can't watch
The ridiculous story of this never ends, at the newest chapter this becames funny and stupid
Even if Sharknado 4 removes important elements from the previous installment. It's still is a failure nonetheless.
After watching Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens, I've about hit my limit with cheesy shark movies, or cheesy movies in general. Almost. There's at least a few scenes that save the movie so I will continue my quest to get through this franchise. (https://foreverfinalgirl.com/sharknado-4-the-4th-awakens/)
Not good I didn’t like the story and settings!
It went a bit too far at this point but is still a blast thanks to it's game cast and utter insanity.
Better than The Last Jedi.
Sharknado: The 4th Awakens feels like a comedy show that relies on using the same gag everytime but now the joke is wearing thin and ripping off other material doesn't help either.
