She Is Love Reviews
I wouldn't call this a romance. It's more like a postcard to grief. It seems like there is a lot of improv. I didn't enjoy it but I also did get something out of it. It made me feel. Had a deep nostalgic pain to it.
I've seen a lot of talk about improbability however I found this movie refreshing. I think the odds were in these characters' favor in placing them at the "right place, right time". I loved the way Adams choose to blend the maturity that comes with age with the immaturity that sometimes comes with love. The use of music in the film added to this "light" feeling despite the struggles the characters faced. I crossed my fingers at the end and the director did not disappoint by leaving it open and hopeful as is common with second chances. Beautiful, carefree film.
do we still have to be reminded that the shaky camera is a no win?
