Der Film hinterlässt einen guten Nachgeschmack. Schauspielerei ist nicht immer am besten, die Mitte des Films ist etwas schwer zu sehen, aber man fühlt sich mit der Hauptfigur voll und ganz. Im Allgemeinen ist ein wunderbarer Film sehenswert, aber egal wie viel es ist, diesen Film werden Sie nicht 100 mal sehen.

This is the type of biopic we need more of - characters and personalities of huge significance who are lesser known than they deserve to be. A well cast array of talent do the story justice, but there is a lack of energy and emotional drive holding it back from realising its potential

Wasnt prepared for another full Lance Reddick role, and he was solid as usual. Was wondering what tf Terrance Howard's character was doing the whole time but it gets explain3d in the credits. A very simple and bland bio drama.

The unknown story of who could have been the First Lady of the United States has its charm and it holds up quite well, without reaching exaggerated levels. To kill about two hours with minimal pain.

I really enjoyed this movie. It is a great true story and sheds light on a period in our history that has been forgotten. Great acting.

There needed to be a lot more background to try and understand such a historical figure and her journey in Washington.

Why so underrated when the portraits are great and the history has said in detail.

I've always liked Regina king and have thought she was a really good actress! Which is why when the trailer for this showed up on YouTube I thought it looked good! Now after watching it a few days ago I can honestly say that the whole movie was really good, as well as the entire cast!

Regina King gave a remarkable performance. She captured successes and challenges Mrs. Chisholm faced as the first African American US Congresswoman, the first African American female to run for President of the United States of America, and a wife to a supportive husband. The movie highlighted the confidence, courage, and unwavering faith in God possessed by Mrs. Chisholm. #BOSS #RESILIENCE #BRAVAMSKING👏👏👏 🎥 🎞️

Shirley Chisolm herself was of course an inspiring figure, but this movie is bland. It just feels like Wikipedia bullet points put to film. A sanitized and surface-level piece that focuses more on Chisolm as a symbol rather than a human being.

So many untold stories from that era and Regina King does not over- dramatize her role. Finally some recognition for this trailblazer!
