Ryan Coogler has not only delivered a deliciously vicious vampire hit, but an unapologetically Black genre knockout ablaze with a killer cast and a cranked-up score.

Kristy Puchko Mashable Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan deliver a vampire movie for the ages. Apr 25, 2025 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) Do all the narrative and thematic threads come together? No. Sinners almost works better in parts than as a whole. But it’s always enthralling, as if you too is trapped in a spell, as if you’ve struck a bargain with the devil. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 22, 2025 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) If you pick apart the story threads, Sinners is a little messy, but Coogler’s assurance and vision holds everything together. It looks phenomenal: shot on 70mm film, the frame throbs with sultry, come-hither reds and golds. Rated: 4/5 Apr 21, 2025 Full Review Lalo Ortega Cine Premiere Ryan Coogler delivers a surprising blend of period horror and gangster cinema. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Eileen Jones The Jacobin in spite of its many recognizable allusions to other movies...there’s nothing like Sinners. It’s as wild, at times, as an idea that emerged directly from the id and was never revised. I recommend it based on that fact alone. Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Lonita Cook KC온라인카지노추천5 News at 9 Could be an onscreen adaptation of The Delectable Negro if it were in the vein of From Dusk Till Dawn Rated: 5/5 Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews
