Sinners Reviews
It was a good movie, but definitely some disturbing moments.
Really good and great ending .
This movie was amazing! I went into it not knowing what it was about and was thoroughly impressed !
Probably my best ever cinema experience. You will regret NOT seeing this on the big screen. Some of the sequences are just MAGIC. I don't want to say more because you should go into this knowing nothing about it and really just enjoy the ride.
Best movie i’ve seen this year, go watch
Ryan Coogler always delivers. It was well thought out moive with more than just a story-line. Completely genius with cultural history symbolism. A interesting thriller, that is definitely more than another vampire movie. A very close and accurate depection of the Mississippi, Delta in 1930s as far as what going on. There is truly a reason behind each scene that defines this movie different. This definitely something you watch more than once.
an amazing original story. I love the twist at the end, micheal B. definitely delivered as the twins.
Absolute must-see! The soundtrack is astronomical! Amazing!
This is one of the best movies i have seen since the color purple 1980s one ...cinematography was masterpiece 👏...omg This is why I go to the 🎬 movies best movie since all quiet on the western front..excellent!
I do not recommend this movie to anyone. One of the worst movies I've seen in awhile. I went and saw this with 8 others who all feel the same, alot of people walked out of the cinema with negative comments about the movie. It was a really slow start to the movie it needed way more to the story line then what it has. The singing from the villains needed to be something different.
You have to witness this with your own eyes.
its music, cinematography, genre-bending story...so good.
Objectively excellent film, even for a scaredy-cat like me. Enjoyed the progression from character background to the climax, particularly the montage towards the end. Fantastic music. What a ride
It was amazing! The script was well written and the cast was superb! Highly recommend watching this amazing film
A bit disjointed. No explanation for events. Two infamous twins, notably played by M.B. Jordan, who searches for the perfect people to join them in the grand opening of a juke joint that the brothers have purchased in the deep south. I suppose "devil music and the sort" brings out devil people, hence vampires. And, well... that's it. Expected much more and it did not deliver. Sorry...
This movie far exceeded the hype—it was absolutely incredible. The cast was amazing, delivering performances that truly brought the story to life. I didnt expect the movie to end the way it did, which made it even more impactful. Michael B. Jordan taking on a double role was a brilliant move—clearly, the producers saw something special in him, and they were right. Overall, this film was superb and a joy to watch from start to finish.
Liked it, but wished for better action and more of it. I'm starting to see Jordan as the same character in every role he plays.
Could’ve been more action. Also wasn’t expecting everything to happen in one night. But overall the movie was great.
As a period movie it's a decent movie - if that era interests you. But for someone who is not US-citizen and knows little about that history, it doesn't do much explaining. To me, the movie felt like it's targeted at a specific demographic. The horror aspects are simply not good. If you are expecting a horror movie, this is not the movie for you. Not a single genuine scare throughout the movie. I do like how they make the vampires look in this movie - there is something eerie about it. The last act is just messy. The first half was better but it felt somewhat rushed. Michael B. Jordan and Miles Caton were the standouts in this movie - I enjoyed their performances. Can recommend it for an era movie but can't recommend it as advertised (a horror/thriller movie).
Exceptional movie that deserves beyond what the current dominant business systems will allowaMUST see at least twice
