Snakes on a Plane Reviews
Campy to the tea! 😅
One of my favorite movies to rewatch on occasion, HOWEVER, are there any other snake people out there that noticed people being bit and supposedly “killed” by non venomous snakes LOL.
It's so bad as a thriller that it's great as a comedy. I praise Samuel Jackson for his professionalism.
This movie was such a goofy idea, yet, I still got some good laughs out of it, despite being scared of snakes at the time, as well as heights.
There were indeed, snakes on that plane
The movie is a guilty pleasure. the first time I saw it I hated it, the more I saw it the better it got, until it turned into a hey nothing is on ill watch snakes on a plane.
It's extremely violent and disgusting and ensures viewers to have a fear of snakes and planes.
Let’s be really honest here. This movie is bad, but Samuel Jackson makes the film enjoyable and fun. If he wasn’t in this movie, it would be a lot worse.
Would not have enjoyed it nearly so much without Keenan Thompson !
This is one of those terribly perfect and perfectly terrible movies that you love to hate watch.
From the director who bought you the worst Final Destination movie, Snakes on a Plane is an exploitation flick that knows exactly what it wants to do and gets the job done expertly. It's not perfect and doesn't have to be, coupled with Samuel L. Jackson in tow; Jackson makes this movie far more than the disposable B-movie it was initially conceived as. He bestrides Snakes on a Plane with the authority of someone who knows the value of what he's appearing in with that signature fierce glimmer in his eye. Ridiculous in every sense of the word, Snakes on a Plane is nothing if not a riot with a few friends or after having down a couple of beers, yes it's stupid and yes it can be pretty sleep-inducing, but who honestly cares when it more than lives up to its title.
You get what it says. Snakes on an airplane, and Samuel L. Jackson as a cop in the middle of it. It's fun and entertaining, but in the end it's still not a good movie but absolute trash. And at this level there are actually slightly better representatives.
I just watched a whole bunch of computer-generated snakes terrorise a flight. It was a wild flight. There isn't too much excitement as you are stuck on this small airplane for the majority of the movie. The snakes are not scary and the whole film, apart from some gross killing, is lacking any extreme violence. The action is strictly mediocre. Fun to watch but lacking any real substance at all and is often boring. This does not live up to the fun b-movie ride that it should have been.
A movie that doesn't try to be anything more than an entertaining b-grade action thriller. A thin plot but big on over the top action sequences.
I just Can't believe how great this movie is. I wouldn't go 5 star because Samuel L Jackson don't surf
A movie where you can turn off your brain that introduces a unique premise and of course you got Samuel L. Jackson fighting for his life with a plane full of snakes.... a guilt pleasure of a film.
Just like the title.
First off, there are snakes on the plane. Once you get that, you can focus on the performances and the writing, which are, frankly, excellent. It spoofs first-class fliers, hip-hop, cops, cabin crew, hitting on people, kung-fu flicks, tampering with lavatory fire detectors, the mile-high club, dick jokes, plausibility, and the fourth-wall. Also, there are boobs. The boobs aren't simply gratuitous. They serve a classic horror trope. It's Snakes on a Plane. If you don't "get it," you won't like it, probably because you're serious, sad, and just a little bit boring. It's okay to admit that. It's dumb, but it's perfectly dumb. Much more subtle than many comedy "classics."
This disaster movie was pretty good. Samuel L. Jackson, Julianna Margulies, Rachel Blanchard, Nathan Phillips, Kenan Thompson, Elsa Pataky, Bobby Cannavale, and the rest of the cast did a great job in this movie. The plot of the movie was thrilling, dramatic, and shocking. It's a disaster movie like you've never seen before. It was better than I thought it would be. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's worth watching. Don't listen to the bad reviews this movie got. This movie wasn't very good, but it's not as bad as what most people are saying about it. They have terrible tastes in movies.
