Snowpiercer Reviews
Well, this is something else. Very original and refreshing. Amazing story, excellent cinematography, heart pounding action and special effects that will drop you jaw. Stunning cast who all excels in character. Fast paced, action filled and exceptional screenplay makes this truly unique and utterly impressive. One of the greats ...
Action-packed, whimsical, comedic at times. But much more than your typical dystopian action-thriller. It’s got some themes that cut deep. If you enjoy watching something with meaning, watch Snowpiercer.
Captivatingly unique world building that makes the most of the premise. Boldly stylistic with a quirky yet great blend of genres. Beautiful variety of set design that build the imagination. The CGI is obvious but the action is intense.
Grandiose and utterly implausible, like a good action film should be. Worth watching for Tilda Swinton's bizarre performance alone.
Bong Joon-ho’s Snowpiercer is a bold and inventive sci-fi thriller that combines high-concept storytelling with visceral action. Set in a dystopian future where the last remnants of humanity survive aboard a perpetually moving train, the film cleverly uses its confined setting to explore class warfare and societal imbalance. Chris Evans delivers a strong, layered performance as the reluctant leader of a revolution, while Tilda Swinton steals scenes with her delightfully bizarre portrayal of a bureaucratic enforcer. The film’s visual style is striking, making full use of its unique train-car environments, each revealing a new and unsettling layer of the world. Bong expertly balances action, tension, and dark humor, though some of the film’s allegorical elements are delivered with a heavy hand. Ambitious, intense, and visually stunning, Snowpiercer is a thrilling ride with depth and style to spare.
Bizarre film that you would have to be high to appreciate and I don't even think that would help much.
Was horrible, I want my time back.. I camt believe I losed almost 2 hours of my life watching such a pathetic movie
honestly dog---- movie
Masterpiece. Every frame carries so much meaning. I've enjoyed this much more than Parasite (which frequently derailed into chaos for no good reason) The guest feature in the last frames is very impactful considering the overarching environmental and social message of the movie. If the train causes such abominations then it's not sacred. We should do away with it and replace with something new.
The movie was fun. Not the most original, but is able to differentiate itself from similar movies.
A solid movie and a great representation of class---wealthy vs the poor .
I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this, but I was pleasantly surprised. It held my interest the entire time with its unique, fast-paced storyline, engaging characters, and intriguing setting. My only gripe was the ending—it wasn’t terrible, but some of the twists didn’t quite land. I won’t spoil anything, but despite that, it was still a worthwhile watch.
How???? Literally one of the stupidest movies I've ever watched.
I only watched this because of the high scores on rotten tomatoes but was sorely disappointed at how implausible the entire premise of the movie was as well as the action sequences. A really poor movie despite a great cast.
Really a fun flick! Go in wanting to have a good time, and you will.
One of the STUPIDEST MOVIES I'VE EVER SEEN!
Suspenseful, well-acted and interspersed with action scenes that keep the audience member from getting bored. Director Bong has masterfully crafted yet another entertaining flick that will be a delightful evening in. That's really all I have to say. This is a great movie. Watch it.
I thought that such a movie would have a better plot and a far more fulfilling ending. After watching Parasite and Boon Joon Ho’s adaptation of The Host, I thought I would've been rewarded with a better ending as the premise and idea of the movie is unique.
Excellent work of ALL the cast and director, Chris Evans its not only Steve rogers
