It's OK. Good animation, but the story did not hook me.

Didn't really expect it to be about death, but it was good.

This movie absolutely obliterated my heart (and soul). I am a sobbing mess right now at the end of the movie, it really hit me in the boo boo. Highly recommend watching

From personal experience I’ve been through some very rough times. This movie definitely hits close to home with its messages . I was not appreciating the little things and didn’t realize that I too can impact those around me. Definitely an eye opener and have a better outlook on life.

This was a good but weird film. It doesn’t feel like something that Pixar would make, but rather some Pixar wannabe. Whatever though.

Highly underrated film, it’s sad to see that no one really talks about this movie at all. I loved the themes it tackles with death and birth. I hope to see more movies like this in the future.

I cannot believe that I hadn't watched this film until now. A tear-jerking and thought-provoking masterpiece that you should absolutely experience for yourself. What is your spark and purpose in life? This beautiful tale of Joe Gardner will guide you on a raw, yet whimsical journey to the answer. Without a doubt, Soul is one of my favorite new-gen Pixar films.

I love how during Covid while everyone was bored this masterpiece saved 2020

If it weren't for covid, and bob chapek's idiocy, this movie would've had the box office success it deserves. It's scary relatable, and holds a very valuable message. And once again the animation is killer!! Especially on those linear designed counselors. Please give this musical masterpiece the viewings it deserves!!

Very inspiring. As a senior 3 of high school in china, the stress to prepare for the college entrance examination is very overwhelming, but the film made me understand that in fact, no matter what the final score is, life should be enjoyed

Disney and Pixar hit it outta the ballpark with the 2020 film "Soul", which features a poignant outlook on life and how we should not waste time thinking what we're gonna do with it and just live it out to our fullest. The animation, which perfectly blends photorealistic detail in New York City and surreal, 2D-esque visuals in the astral planes, is incredible and some of Pixar's best CGI in recent years. The comedy is also very funny and occasionally pokes fun at the very concept of living, all while providing insight as to why we even exist. The jazz-inspired soundtrack is also very significant, as the music feels uplifting and gives off a psychedelic sort of vibe, all while being central to the main character, Joe Gardner, an African-American jazz musician and band teacher. This one is a banger that will pull at your heart strings and make you rethink your own life.

The best Pixar movie ever. The most beautiful and important message. Truly a must-see.

Another exclusionary disnee movie. According to disnee, white people either don't exist or don't count. Tiny Fehh is horrible as usual.
