Sound of Freedom Reviews
Best movie showing the real world
Excellent movie, it a must watch!!
One of the best movies of 2023... I'm absolutely don't understand the negative reviews towards a movie that for some reason was being shelfed for 5 years... I'm happy to say that everyone in this movie treated the subject matter with respect and hopefully productions with strong messages become something more than just a "Sleeper hit". Jim Caviezel & Eduardo Verástegui... well done Gentlemen, well done.
A moving and captivating film that makes you think about life. This simple film manages not only to be entertaining but also to bring about reflections like few films can at this level.
wawwww filmy bags dan keren bangettt tops lach pokoknya
I feel really unsettled by the reviews of this film. Yes, not the most amazing acting by any stretch, by the lengths people will go to just to continue to pretend this isn't going on across the world every day, is highly disturbing. Stats about child traffiking are readily available via multiple sources & Tim Ballard who is a real person, who prior to all the discussions about certain lists, was hailed as a hero, as he should be, on several media outlets including CNN. If you are saying this is the conspiracy, you are either part of the problem, have your head up your arse or have no care for the children of the world. This film highlights an absolutely grotesque scourge on all of humanity
It's a sad fact that this film is based on a true story. A harsh reality of our time
One of the most boring, predictable things I have seen in a very long time. If there is a sequel it should focus on Matt Walsh's interest in lowering the age of consent
The heart pounding and a realization about this world.😨
hate that the marketing and advertisement for this movie wasn’t pushed as much as it should have been. portrays a very scary but realistic story that can happen on the daily for awareness yet instead it was almost forced out of box offices and theaters. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS MOVIE AND WOULD TOTALLY GO SEE IT AGAIN IF I COULD!
So lame and predictable. I felt like I was being manipulated the entire time. Bleh.
I almost skipped this film due to the low ratings from critics, but after watching it, I have to question whether some critics lack perspective or even sincerity. Perhaps those who dismissed this film as ‘poorly acted’ or ‘badly written’ either fail to grasp its significance, see themselves reflected in the villains it portrays, or were simply paid to undermine it. Having personally witnessed child exploitation during visits to Cartagena and Medellín, I found this film’s subject matter deeply affecting. It’s heartbreaking and defeating to see the futures of children—who could grow up to be doctors, engineers, nurses, or any number of vital roles—stolen from them. Instead of tearing down a film that raises awareness of such a critical issue, we should be amplifying its message. Yes, this may not be a perfect film in terms of cinematic execution, but given its $14.5 million budget, it delivers a powerful story that many in developed nations would struggle to believe is real. And that alone makes it worth watching.
If you love this movie, you've literally been tricked. It's all BS-- worst off, back when it was in theaters, instead of asking you to donate to causes that would help fund the efforts to end sex trafficking, they instead asked you to buy another ticket so someone could see the film for free, ie-- money grab, and boy did it work for them. They made plenty, and I'm sure none of it is going to the subjects in this film who desperately need it. The film itself is fine. It's not great, it's not horrible-- like the middling work of fiction that it is.
A harrowing subject , clinically told in almost documentary style. The menace and unease subtlety conveyed.
Conspiracy crap, with a crack pot main lead who lost touch with reality awhile back. There’s a reason no one wanted to pick this up for release
This courageous message needs to get out. There are very few movies these days that I can take my granddaughter to without language, bloody gore, and over sexuality It gets the point across and allows our minds to fill in the blanks, a wake up call for the nation to not close our eyes to the atrocities and do something even if it is only in our power to educate others. I want to see more of this kind of movie
Not a cinematic masterpiece, but I don’t think that’s the point, as most “critics” seem to have missed. The movie takes some Hollywood liberty but is largely based in fact. Jim does a solid job portraying Tim Ballard, a man who is deeply affected by the evil that exists in our world. Ballard’s team in real life saved 3800 children and made 2100 arrests of sex traffickers, worthy of any and all commendations. Critics of the movie can’t see past the supposed “right wing culture wars” and were excited to leave 1 star reviews. This isn’t a 1 star movie by any stretch, unless you just can’t stand the fact that it portrays a good man who just happened to actually be a white guy.
