Filme ruim, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é ruim, o elenco é mais ou menos, mas ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom, e o filme tem cenas de Cgi horríveis, tipo a cena da explosão na parte de fora da casa do speed, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo esse filme, eu só recomendo para todas as pessoas ver as cenas de efeito visuais/Cgi horríveis.

Not everyone will like this movie. But for viewers like me who grew up in awe of this cartoon and for whom it was pivotal in our young lives, this movie is a masterpiece. It's an unapologetic love letter to the original cartoon, with countless references from subtle to direct, everything from facial expressions, sound effects, plot developments, car details, and even the campy martial arts. I felt like every aspect of the movie was true to the concept of the cartoon, and the casting choices and the acting were excellent. It's visually alive like an arcade game, which can border on overwhelming, but it worked as a modern interpretation of the cartoon's action sequences. The great use of musical elements from the cartoon added to the nostalgia effect, but the message - especially in one of Pops' quotes about greed - is absolutely relevant 17 years later (2025).

One of the greatest movies ever made. This movie changed my life. Easily the most visually stunning movie ever. There has never been a movie more made for the big screen than this. Now that it's developed such a huge cult following it should be played repeatedly like Rocky Horror Picture Show. Speed Racer is a movie that belongs on the big screen.

This has got to be the most ugly film I have ever seen, Visually horrible to look at and the story was just as bad with new characters popping up what seems like every five minutes or so with no warning. I found myself repeating the same four words over and over again and they are "WHAT... IS... GOING... ON". This film also dragged on and was about 45 minutes to long, it just didn't know when to end. overall I can stress enough how bad it is and definitely can't recommend it. Another blemish on the Wachowskis filmography.

One of the very few Anime to Live-action films made that not only honors the original show, but improves upon it.

Your enjoyment of this movie will mainly depend on how high you are while watching it. But you'll be entertained for sure.

Absolutely amazing, it might be a bit kiddish but if you’re able to understand it then it is a very emotional film.

This live action of Speed Racer is fun,entertaining and exciting however the whole scene makes my head hurts when ever the camera is rolling and get to see the next scene to a next scene it gives me a headache.

I like racing, but it's a kids film. Not for me.

Got recommended this as a pretty entertaining B movie by my stoner friend, and I sort of see where their coming from. Overall though I could only really recommend this for kids for the cartoony action and characters. I wouldn't for anyone else since the plot just makes my eyes glaze over from having no stakes, it runs way too long, and the CGI is pretty outdated without an interesting style, it's all just overly glossy with blown-out lights.

It's pretty enjoyable

Speed Racer the cartoon about cool cars, crazy drivers, and short conversations. This movie is 100% CGI and was filmed indoors. I realize that some of the "tracks" would have been impossible to build, this movie suffers from too much computer creativity. I mean, even TRON Legacy had a few outdoor shots and that movie takes place IN a computer. We see many villains who get hardly any airtime. Instead, the focus of the movie is on sponsorships and corporate greed. The movie is fine for adults, but most kids will get bored with all the talking. I saw it in a theater filled with kids who would cheer during the action, basically toss popcorn on the floor during the extended "corporate scenes." They should have also removed the sexual innuendoes so that kids and families could have enjoyed it together without getting that uneasy feeling.

It looks fine to me while I know some don't like this movie well I don't care I just like the movie and no one can force me to watch the old anime version of it.

I will never forgive people for hating this movie. It's a 10/10 cinematic masterpiece
