I thought this was a really good movie. I'm glad to learn the story of what Captain Sully did to save the lives of 155 people. And in this film, I think they told a really good story. Kinda thought the sequence of events were a little odd, but it still made sense. Thank you Captain for your bravery!

"Sully" is a safe biopic brought to life by Clint Eastwood. This type of movie has all of the right pieces to be great, one of which is Tom Hanks' committed performance. I think this movie is an interesting true story about some really heroic people and that is easy to like. I do feel the movie struggled to find enough to make it to the 90-minute mark, and some of the moments feel like they are there to pad the run time. Still, this is a story worth telling and it is told with care and good intentions, and with a good mix of intense moments. Overall, it is a solid movie that presents a truly miraculous and incredible story from recent history.

I loved it, definitely a great movie, with great performances. This movie wears it's heart on its sleeve, and highlights humanity at it's best.

More movies should be like this. Short, precise, well directed and well acted. Not an innovative film but it gets into its work quickly and sets up a nice amount of tension, with a satisfying conclusion, through the investigation scenes and the main character’s self-doubt. Hanks is perfect, as usual.

A story we all know very well but still deserved a big screen portrayal. I’m glad they got Hanks and Eckhart as the lead roles.

An accurate depiction of Flight 1549. Sully, is a brilliant film that tells the story of the miracle of the day a passenger airliner lands in the Hudson River, due to a flock of birds rendering both engines down. The miracle is just amazing to watch, as it was to hear about when it actually occurred in 2009. Tom Hanks does a fantastic job yet again at the portrayal of Sully.

Remarkable film of what happened in January 15th 2009 at the Hudson River and Tom Hanks performance as Sully you can can see he's a real hero and Clint Eastwood did really fantastic director and Clint wants use to show real hero for telling their stories of what just happened.

One of my teachers from a few years back actually rented this movie from one of the local libraries because he thought I would enjoy it, he was right. Great performance from Mr. Hanks and great cinematography.

I like the narrative, Mr. Hanks exceptional as usual. And great story.

really great film must watch

A decently solid biopic about the 2009 plane crash over the Hudson River and the admirable flying skills that saved all 155 passengers. Tom Hanks gives a good performance as always and the film feels fairly grounded and wrapped up in the whole procedure. That being said, the movie can feel a bit sluggish at times trying artificially stretch out the relatively smaller-scale conflicts of the aftermath that can feel a bit low-stakes and impersonal at times. But I'd still say it's worth a watch if you're interested in the topic and want to see a good recreation of the incident and its courtroom aftermath.

Great story that shows how ordinary people ,”just dong their jobs”, can become heroes. A concise and non-self indulgent film.

AMAZING movie. Heartwarming in every way. Extraordinary story too. And so many movies are just too long and this movie was the perfect length. Also, a lot of times when the story is super intense the movie is too heavy, this was not that either. Loved it!
