Terrifier 2 Reviews
The first thing anyone can talk about when it comes to Terrifier 2 is its two-hour and twenty-minute runtime...What’s more worth talking about though, is that Terrifier 2 earns its runtime.

Terrifer 2 is proof you don’t need a magnitudinal Hollywood budget to create a stylish and albeit, absolutely frightening horror movie.

If you love horror then you are going to love Terrifier 2. Gorey with just the hint of a story this is a throwback to the good horror of old. The supernatural element gives it a fresh little nudge though.

Leone has a fanatical drive to see how far he can take it, resulting in a film that, for a certain type of horror enthusiast, will feel like an epic on par with Lawrence of Arabia

Leone's surprising formal confidence and resonant sense of humor do not entirely give us permission to rationalize the film’s sadism as something more than a carny freak show. This is the movie’s supreme accomplishment.

Terrifier 2’s narrative may be nonsensical, but the film is a bloody feast for gore hounds, thanks to its great practical effects and homages to B-horror pictures.

This is obscene slapstick, but if pornography is defined as lacking in artistic merit, then the torture porn of the first Terrifier film is transformed here into something with considerable merit, as lowbrow and disgusting as the whole thing may be.

A movie for fans of unabashedly wild horror: the madness lasts almost two hours and twenty minutes and will not disappoint fans. [Full review in Spanish]

Above all, it is genuinely terrifying, potentially being the most gory movie that most of it's audience members have and will ever sit through.

Fans of 1970s and 80s grindhouse horror and the slasher gore of yore will lap up the inventively staged mayhem, although the two-hour running time is rather excessive.

This vigorexic sequel works because it is what it is: a trepidatious and sick witch's train for strong stomachs and playful spirits... [Full review in Spanish]

... starts out as a gore fantasy and ends up being a boring procedure as simple as hemoglobinic. [Full review in Spanish]

...some kind of ambitious work of art within the context of slasher sequels.

To its benefit, Terrifier 2 adds black humor, some irony, a few strokes of dreamlike delusions, and a tone that's less solemn... [Full review in Spanish]

Leone is fully aware of his previous success and wants to double up on it. But not everything works... [Full review in Spanish]

Where the other chapters were pure homicidal rage, TERRIFIER 2 better balances the tonal juxtaposition of blood, guts, and vaudeville humor.

... Gore to the max, the story is second fiddle to the shocking human dismemberment of each murder. [Full review in Spanish]

It was only in theaters but as of yesterday, it’s available to stream on any device via Screambox. Skip dinner before you watch and maybe shower and then go do something nice for humanity afterward?
