Texas Chainsaw Reviews
Personnaly one of my favourite movies of this franchise makes me feel like i'd want to be his brother!
I hate everything about this movie makes me want to kill myself 1/10
A goofy and gimmicky continuation. Texas Chainsaw 3D may only satisfy mindless audiences, but for fans of the franchise, it’s just another stupid teen slasher movie with a nonsensical plot and awful characters and while the slasher entertainment may leave some satisfied, but the film itself doesn’t rise anywhere above the level of a successful Texas Chainsaw movie. Grading: D
Texas Chainsaw 3D is a decent attempt at reviving one of horror’s most iconic franchises, blending nostalgia with modern slasher tropes. Most notably, TC3D takes an interesting risk by reframing Leatherface as a misunderstood figure, a choice that might not sit well with all fans but adds complexity to this already complicated story.
While It is let down by pore CGI effects it does have a good story and making leatherface a hero ish which is a bold move.
The film is great but still has huge plot holes because doesn't show how Leatherface escaped the fire, doesn't show how the Sawyer family became millionaires. This film is a direct sequel to the original film but Sally Hardesty doesn't appear in it, but the actress that played Sally in the original appears in this one, but with another character appears as one of the Sawyers, she should have had appeared as Sally Hardesty.
I love this one lowkey a classic for me
I can settle for the ending, but the real massacre here was the terrible cliches and plotline. Chainsaw your way to another movie.
What a weird take on a continued story from the original Texas chainsaw massacre movie and making a crazy movie with it and making it a crazy amusing horror movie.
This one and Tcm 2 are terrible. I hate these characters as much as part 2. Tim Treakle
It wasn’t terrible, but the storyline was weird. The worst part was when Heather grabbed the chainsaw and threw it towards leatherface and said “do you thing cuz”. Straight cringe.
No, no, why even. 3.7/10.
This movie is ass they took a great movie and ruined it the whole movie makes no sense it's horrible and all it's about is people fucking it's bad DONT WATCH THIS MOVIE
It wasn't bad. It's just a pointless direct sequel to the Texas Chainsaw (1974) movie, that shouldn't have been made. It was a decent movie, however, it just knocks the other movie's timelines.
Texas Chainsaw 3D makes no sense in Leatherface's Legacy but it has over-the-top blood & gore action sequences and a noisy raw Chainsaw (plus the poster of the film is beautiful such as Alexandra 😏)
A trying hard version of previous ones.
I remember wasting money in a theater to see this film upon it's initial release, and after revisiting it on DVD today, realized why this pile of hot garbage is easily the worst film in all of the sequels and reboots. The only integrity this film holds is casting actors from the first two films, of which I've admired and respected, but to cast them as bit extras for 5 minutes, it serves no honor to those first 2 films. There is nothing likeable about the cast otherwise. Even without the loose connections to the original, if this film was made as an original piece of cinema, it's plot is so absurd and ridiculous, that it's a complete waste of the money and budget used to make it.
Cheap, cringey, predictable and boring
I personally love this movie. Arguably the best in the franchise.
