The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 Reviews
Going from a realistic slasher film about a cannibalistic family to what's basically the horror equivalent of Batman Forever is an insane tonal shift, but you get used to it as you keep going through the movie. And when you do, you appreciate it quite a lot. The story is interesting in this one. After Sally gets taken away and survives the first film, she enters a catatonic state and she's out of it. Then we shift to Leatherface killing two frat bros and targeting a radio host named Stretch. Then we follow Stretch and Leatherface falls for her. Wow. It's an interesting plot and it's very unique, albeit weird. Very weird. But it's entertaining enough to be good. The family were also in this. They were nowhere near as scary or gritty as the original film's rendition, but they were good for what they were. It was a much bigger family in this one, not as big as the remake but still quite big, and the red aesthetic of the house was quite good. They were just quite fun presences that improved the movie a lot. Overall, it's a weird sequel to the first film but it's quite good.
It was a great horror comedy and I recommend it.
It depends on my mood which one i prepared. Cause sometimes i like the this one than the first movie but sometimes i prepared the first movie.
Worst movie I’ve ever seen. Bad plot, acting, staging, you name it. It was beyond campy. I’m embarrassed for Dennis Hopper. 0/10.
It was just bad. Can't recommend it.
This sequel is quite different than original chainsaw massacre but with dark humor and unbelievable gore effects by Tom Savini and audiences may not enjoy it but is way better than the following sequels including the horrible Netflix sequel and to all chainsaw man fan out there there's a lot of chainsaw actions.
The Texas chainsaw massacre 2 isn't really funny and it's downright laughable at sometimes and the acting is a bit off in some places but when it isn't it's stunning. With an amazing start and ending the Texas chainsaw massacre 2 is a worthy sequel.
This movie just wasn't good on any level. It tried to be a horror/comedy but it just came out stupid. The first one was a classic that didn't need a Part 2 and they should have left it alone.
It's horrible. Whereas the original was also disturbing, it was done from a creative perspective. This film reduced the original into a silly, obscene, caricature of itself.
The best one besides 3D texas
The best movie 10000
Not as bad as people say, it's a good film. Fnuiyy
starts off slow and confusing, but the main character is smart and makes it worth watching. the backgrounds and props are amazing. gets gory and made me cry. leatherface is clumsy and uncoordinated, completely different to part one. another difference is how much more traumatising this one is.
It’s not a horror movie, It’s a horrible movie. I remember in the Fake 온라인카지노추천 guide at a laundromat in Lacey, Washington when American Gladiators was being pitched for its first season. How time flies. Fortress cassette tape that was designed by the movie rental companies to prevent tampering. It was a special security case that would be worth keeping for archival purposes. I asked my mom what happened to the tape, She said she recorded cartoons over it, then threw the tape in the garbage, I was mildly disappointed.
Utter madness. Hopper's instinct to not try and recreate the original is fair and honestly the dark comedy aspect was always there. Although the movie's unrelenting garish violence goes to places that will test even the strongest stomach.
It's not the Original but the Saw the Saaaaww is family and the sequel is here to prove it (the bigger the chainsaw the better)
Not as good as the first but still entertaining and well made.
This is a comedy and I love it for that.
Watching this movie turned out to be a lot more enjoyable than I ever anticipated. Right from the get-go, they drop a mention of the Red River Rivalry, given that the movie's set during that same intense weekend. The timing couldn't have been better since the real showdown was happening this weekend too. It's a bit of synchronicity that added to the excitement of finally diving into this sequel. Now, I've got to admit, it's a bit embarrassing that I hadn't seen this particular Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie before. I mean, it IS one of my all-time favorite horror franchises! But after watching it, I totally get why it's a cult classic. This movie takes the iconic horror franchise and takes it on a wild, unexpected ride. It's like a rollercoaster of dark humor and gore that sets it apart from its predecessor and most other horror films. If I had to draw a comparison, it's got that same zany spirit as "Evil Dead 2," which is quite the compliment considering it came out just a year later! Now, don't be fooled into thinking this is your typical Texas Chainsaw Massacre terror fest. Part 2 leans heavily into dark humor, crafting an atmosphere that's equal parts uncomfortable, dark, and downright bizarre. Sure, Leatherface and his crazy clan are still as unhinged as ever, but the 'massacre' part takes a back seat in this one. This movie wholeheartedly embraces its weirdness, and it's a bit like diving into a Texas barbecue – it's messy, over-the-top, and you're not quite sure what you just got yourself into! Like the movie I watched yesterday, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2" might not be everyone's favorite. It's a cult classic for sure, especially if you've got a soft spot for horror with a darkly comic twist. Keep an eye out for callbacks and easter eggs from the original film; they're fun to spot. The people behind this knew they couldn't outdo the original, so they decided to take a wild detour with the sequel. And boy, am I glad they did! Carolyn Williams as Stretch might just be one of my new favorite Final Girls, and her chemistry with Dennis Hopper adds a layer of awesomeness to the movie.
