The Social Network Reviews
I found this version of Mark's ascent to the top, absorbing. Jesse Eisenberg suited the role very well. We have been told that it is not accurate, so classify it as a Docu-Drama. Well worth a watch.
Excellent movie to be watched for Entrepreneurs
One of the best movies I've ever watched. The casting was brilliant. Andrew Garfield puts on a fantastic performance as Eduardo Saverin, and the soundtrack was chef's kiss.
Fantastic! Jesse Eisenberg is a PERFECT fit to play as the Facebook creator we all know as Mark Zuckerberg.
The social network is a fantastic movie! It's well written. Andrew Garfield should've got nominated for best supporting actor.
The Social Network has great performances and solid promise
Eduardo was the best and when he got backstabbed it hurt.
Fincher hasn't really done anything good since Seven and Fight Club.
The actors did a great job, but this movie does not deserve the hype. I had high expectations with people calling it a ‘masterpiece’, or the ‘greatest film they’ve ever seen’. Didn’t even notice the score, lol. Not a necessary watch, just a story about a person I don’t really care about.
Really well done impactful story of ambition, drive, friendship and betrayal. Eisenberg does a good job humanizing an awful person. The first half you are rooting for him, and then geez the guy just comes unglued at the seams. Gave me way more perspective on the whole IP battle over Facebook. I knew the names but not the stories. On the down side the dialogue audio was pretty bad, especially when everyone was talking so fast.
The Social Network is possibly one of my all-time favourite movies. Jesse Einsberg does an impeccable job at portraying Mark Zuckerberg in this, with the supporting cast doing just as great a job. I go back to watch this movie every time it pops up on Netflix, I listen to the soundtrack all the time when im brainstorming ideas, and I watch clips of Mark Zuckerberg destroying the lawyers with their ‘condescending question’ all the time. Its a must watch, 5/5 stars.
When I think of Jesse Eisenburg I think of this movie. 10/10 I would recommend anyone who enjoys dramas based on real events this would definitely be one to watch.
The Social Network is a perfectly well-acted spot-on casting of an immaculately written screenplay that has never been written in the history of all Hollywood-produced biopics. This film is certainly not my go-to movie as my interest in how Facebook began doesn’t satisfy me entirely, but for sure, in my books, this film will always be considered a perfect study film for any future filmmaker, thanks to David Fincher pitch perfect direction and Aaron Sorkin’s Oscar winning writing. Grading: A-
Cold and captivating, the ability to make you love to hate a real person while finding them incredible, all the surrounding factors are extremely well covered, programming, business, drama and everything possible.
Great cast, great direction and a great script turns what could have been a dull film about nerds coding into something engrossing and fascinating
Watched this again recently and damn, it’s a really well done and interesting movie. It also seems like everything Aaron Sorkin writes is excellent 👌🏻
one of the best movies that i have ever seen and humanity have 100% masterpiece no flaws perfect editing, performances, script, THE SCORE IS OOOMG SO GOOOD, cinematography, sound, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT, THIS SHOULD HAVE WON BEST PICTURE AT THE OSCARS, NOT THAT CRAPPY "the king's speech" AWFUL MOVIE
This film has its fair share of flaws (mainly the far too fast pace), but an amazing performance by the always great Jesse Eisenberg and an undeniably great story make this film hard to criticize or not enjoy.
Memories of the first time I watched this, and the several times I rewatched it. Brilliant writing and performances.
Sporting slickly delivered repartee and tensely edited drama by Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall, The Social Network delivers a fascinating look at the rise of Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook that often finds itself enervating (and captivating) viewers.
