Initially in back ground and become thoroughly engrossed, the mix up of western, and Eastern, why is the a big wheel in the middle of a desert, mystical supernatural, unbelievable, but the cast seemed to believe in what they were doing. A love affair that felt innocent between two beautiful people. Weird and because it is surreal didn't question the no one would do that. Yup enjoyed.

I'm one of those who loved it. The cinematography reminded me of 'Bunraku', it had elements of 'Sukiyaki Django' and a little bit of 'The Good, the Bad and the Weird'. Without derailing or throwing spoliers around, many standard tropes are used. A killer wants to give up the killing life, so he goes to a place nobody knows him, but is being tracked by his old gang. Once in thh new place he falls in with a band of misfits and ends up fighting the local bad guys when his old gang catches up and we get a three sided fight. You've seen it all before but so what? It's well paced, brilliantly filmed with great set pieces. There is no messages, just good v bad and bad will loose along as you always fight for the right.

It's a very good movie...The Warrior's Way, 2010...I like the combinations of New Zealand, South Korean and also a famous HK villain, Ti Lung...

Fun popcorn fare, from start to finish. Beautifully filmed and a story that moves.

Loved this movie. Reminded me of the Kung Fu movies of my childhood with the modernizing of the filming.

This film reminded me of Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events - the Netflix series. It seemed to be almost entirely filmed in/with CGI and has a strong fantasy element to it - its an action/fantasy/Western type film. There is some nice attention to detail with fancy costumes and interesting settings, with some nice skylines and decent martial arts choreography. The characters are ok - I liked that there was a strong female character for one thing. There are plenty of explosions I suppose though and it is pretty fast paced at times, so if thats your kind of thing, then this is worth a watch, yes. Oh and also, there's some, what I assume to be strobe lighting effects, at one point, which would be an issue for people with photosensitive epilepsy I believe(?).

Quase aos filmes #trash Mas um filme bem produzido, eu gostei do filme, achei bem feito, mesmo com os exageros. Conta a estória de um matador chinês Jang. Onde ele tem a missão de acabar com um clã arquinimigo. Ele mata quase todos, sobrando apenas um neném. Que ele não consegue matar. Então seu clã agora persegue ele e o neném para concluir o trabalho. Ele foge para o velho Oeste americano. Encontra uma pequena cidade que sempre e saqueada por uma quadrilha. Lá foi atrás de um tio, mas quando chega ele morreu. Entra então um grupo de circenses falidos. E uma moça sedenta de vingaça Kate. E quem pode salvar este povo? Quem? É claro Jang e sua espada. Mas no momento que ele desembanha a espada, seu clã vem atraz dele. Além de ter de lutar com a gang tem ainda seu próprio clã de assassinos. Será que ele vencerá? Será que Kate se vingará? Um filme feito na simplicidade, sem muitos diálogos, ainda mais de Jang. Mas bem produzido. Uma boa atuação de Kate e Geoffrey que faz o papel de um bêbado inútil. Roteiro: Os atores aturam bem. As Cenas de lutas bem feitas, apesar de beirar a mentira. Um roteiro simples, mas bem executado. Vale apena assistir? Sim. Ver algo diferente. Nota: 7,75

this was a great fantasy. meshed with Asian style fight scenes and American genre of the west. I disagree with the negative feedback 100% everyone that watched this movie agreed with me. that's over 50 people. cultural opinions obviously on the feedback of this movie

Pretty lame and has a weird goofy feel in the way people are acting but the style doesn't feel right. Action is cool but pretty sparely distributed.

Honestly, one of my most favourite Independent films of all time!! Great look, using Panavion cameras with panaflex prime lenses to combine an excellent visual and amazing acting. Only let down is the poor CGI implemented on the film, but still an excellent film

While visually stunning, this movie lacked real substance as well as any kind of interesting plot. If it had just kept to mainly fighting it would've been 100x better. Don't throw in a story for the sake of fill. Can I give this 0 stars?
