This movie was amazing! I am not one to be completely blinded by a story, so i had multiple theories about how this movie would end, but a specific plot twist, although not 100% unexpected, blew me away! It's not everyday that you see a psychological horror movie with such great care in the storie line, and such good acting, i'd give this 150% if i could.

The Aviary is generic cult shocker elevated by strong lead performances

Waste of time. Hard to follow, poor script and confusing endings.

This is how you make a low budget movie. You ask interesting questions, write a smart script, and cast great actors. Don't know why the poster makes it look like action movie. This is an indie drama psychological thriller mind fuck.

I didn't love this. But I also respected it. It is definitely what it is like to be in a cult. For a small budget, this is solid filmmaking.

The Aviary had a few high notes but at the end of the day I felt as clouded as the cult members in the film. If this film had been a bit more tightly spun, perhaps explaining a few more of the scenes, I would have enjoyed it. The Aviary plays like a strong of scenes that lack cohesion or enough explanation to hold them together.

What starts off as a typical "wandering through the wilderness" film slowly escalates into something way crazier and more interesting than I anticipated. Are you someone who liked "The Edge"? No, of course not! No one actually enjoys that movie. THIS FILM is better than that! Do you enjoy good stories with twists and turns, amazing acting, and an "oh snap" ending? Of course - everyone does! And The Aviary DELIVERS. All these other reviews are too up their own butts to know a good movie when they see it. Just go watch this film as it will be hard to answer anything other than "yes" to the question: ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!
