The only thing wrong with the blackening is the title should have come up with a more fitting title But the Movie itself was fantastic hilarious professionally done great acting funny as hell intertaining never lost my attention but I would have never watched it because of the stupid title If I had known it was not a cliche I would have paid to watch it I only watched it in 2025 because it popep up on my viewing list this movie was Fantastic but you got to think harder about your movie titles.

I liked this movie more than I was expecting to. I thought it was going to be more of an overt horror movie "spoof", which has already been done to death. And my favorite examples, Scary Movie 1 & 2, had already dealt with specific themes of racial stereotypes in horror movies extensively. However, this movie was really entertaining. Although it did have a lot of parody type humor, I thought it was at its best and most clever when it was being satirical rather than over-the-top spoof. This allowed for a more balanced effect with the horror elements, that helped create fun tension as well as laughs. Cast was really good and funny, with unique characters who brought their own issues and levity to the story. Overall, a good horror-comedy.

Lazy story line(predictable), lazy premise on how to play the game. "OH we are already here,might as well". It's amazing how people make such dumb movies and how unoriginal they make these movies. This is a mash up of other 70 movies....atrocious

I loved it it was so hilarious hoping for a part2 I laughed the entire time

Starts out strong but quickly loses steam, more comedy than horror. It has funny moments but the acting is SOOOO bad that it prevents a lot of the comedy from landing. If they had cast better actors, it would've been wayyy better. I get the impression that they didn't have a strong concept so they stretched a thin concept as far as it could go which results in a very sub par movie.

Spirited cast, and effectively photographed, the movie has a great sense of humor about itself, and the game cast play it perfectly.

A solid horror comedy that’s pretty consistent with the laughs and witty social commentary about horror tropes and racial stereotypes while surprisingly giving us some decent character development and believable motivations that tie into the story. It’s a refreshing change of pace for modern horror comedies and one of the pleasant surprises of 2023.

Missed it in theaters but super cute and funny. I will be rewatching when I need a good break

I missed this movie in theaters. But I didn't have high expectations for it. However when I finally got to stream it. It had me laughing practically the whole time. I would definitely recommend this comedy.

Not scary but definitely a super funny watch. Would recommend if you’re looking for minimal scares with majority humor.

Based on the predominantly positive reviews, with many saying how hilarious it was, I was expecting just that... a hilarious movie with some scary bits. It had none of that and overall I found it to be very disappointing. If you are considering watching this, don't expect to be watching a hilarious and scary movie... you too will be bitterly disappointed.

Utter, utter, UTTER garbage. Written by people with a chip on their shoulder, for people with a chip on their shoulder. Unfunny, uninspiring and worst of all - that is an hour and a half of my life I will never get back. Go watch a testcard instead.

The movie was garbage and truly disappointing. The first scene was incredible, with the first two kills. If the movie would have kept that momentum up it would have been golden. The movie didn't keep up that momentum though and thus suffers. All of the main characters were annoying and not one causality among them. The script was predictable and not original. I found the jokes to be lame as well. The movie at the end of the day is just not a good one. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone.

Que roteiro incrível. O elenco sensacional e o plot twist no final me fizeram amar ainda mais esse filme. As piadas que envolvem os personagens, sem perder o momento, mostram que o roteirista estava mais que pronto para cada cena. Um filme que entrou claramente no meu top 10 dos filmes da vida.

Best movie of the year. Had a blast watching this!

It was hilarious but had tons of terrifying moments. They played out all the typical horror movie tropes while having a decent plot.
