Absolutely loved the movie, 🍿🍿🍿🍿 id watch a prequel or sequel

Watched this movie about five times. It's hysterical! Melissa can do no wrong. She and Peter Dinklage are a comedy dream.

Silly, for sure. Over-the-top at times, yes. But a lot of laughs with clever and cute dialogue gives an oommff to the "watch it" category.

Melissa McCarthy in rare form. A lovable cast. An absolutely bizarre story with tons of memorable lines. I love it. It gets a little slow at points but otherwise phenomenal.

I will fight anyone who disses on this.

i LOVE Melissa and Kristen but Peter Dinklage is SO OVERDRAMATIC, not just in this but in everything-makes it hard for me to keep watching....great job by Ella Anderson as Rachel

this movie is really good i liked the jokes in the movie but i did not agree with some of the other jokes in the movie

I almost did not watch this because of reviews. My expectations were low but I loved it. Laughed my butt off at Peter dinklages character and his assistant. Also her relationship with the girl in the movie was sweet.

Melissa McCarthy funny? I dont think so. I am glad they don't cast her anymore. Should have left her in prison after the movie. Peter Dunksludge is his usual horrible untalented self. I don't know who I despise more. Him or that other malignant dwarf Danny Devoidoftalent.

From the beginning this was a laugh-out-loud film I really enjoyed (and this is coming from someone who doesn't usually enjoy comedies). Sure there were some points which fell flat but overall it was silly and yet relatable emotions

Corny, not funny, rubbish.

I think there's a certain amount of undue criticism around this movie. It's rare to find a comedy that ticks every box and is consistently funny and even when it is, what is funny to one person isn't to another. Mrs Brown's Boys for instance! I found this to have enough regular laughs to make it well worth while. It is inconsistent and there are lulls but overall the cast are entertaining and Melissa McCarthy is as funny as usual. I'd say that if you're unsure of what to watch and just want something that won't be intellectually challening but will put a smile on your face, give The Boss a chance.

This is not McCarthy's best comedy. If you are a fan, you will still enjoy it. Kept noticing she wore super-high turtlenecks, apparently to cover her excess weight. I still love her.

I love Melissa McCarthy's movies their always fun but the boss sadly was not one of them the film wasn't awful the acting was ok but the script was not good. It is worth a watch but don't expect to be in tears laughing, overall it's ok 7/10

I could never understand why this film got so much trash, I literally never stopped laughing the whole way through 😆
