The Fallout Reviews
Love Jenna Ortega 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
My favorite movie. Amazing acting and shows how this would actually happen in real life, not like how the industry thinks teens act or how parents act when this happens.
Does a fantastic job of showing the after effects of a traumatic event while making the audience truly root for the characters.
An incredible film. Excellent acting. A powerful and sad film about school shooting and the consequences and impact that endures with so many left behind. Highly recommend.
I was waiting for a riddle, I was looking at something incoherent and boring. I don't recommend watching this movie, it's utter nonsense.
Navigating heavy themes with ease and finding space for both tenderness and humor in all the grief, The Fallout is kind of wonderful.
This is an absolutely amazing film that deal with very sensitive topics of grief and surviors guilt. Jenna Ortega is brillaint due to the complexity of the character. There are moments where it felt as though she wasnt acting.
Beatiful and moving, great acting
I've watched The Fallout two times and my opinion of it hasn't changed. It's a raw and realistic piece. The scenes don't feel forced and they are relatable too. The film is well cast and the director has done an excellent job.
This was an okay movie. I thought Jenna had an outstanding performance and the topic was very real and made you empathize and realize this stuff really does happen, but I thought the chemistry between Jenna and Maddie was really awkward and I think they could’ve found a better match their especially since the movie is based on their friendship/relationship after this horrible tragedy.
“I feel mad, because I had no idea one guy with a gun could fuck up my life so hard in six minutes.” A really beautiful film about a tragedy that happens often in the school systems, that isn’t spoke on, that isn’t getting the notice it needs. Jenna and Maddie are brilliant. 5/5 stars.
This movie like Thirteen there needs to be more like it, school shootings are real unfortunately they do happen and we need to have more honest scripts like The Fallout and Thirteen to cover the topics I feel are pretty much pushed under the rug.
Touches many emotions. As a gen z watcher I think they did a great job with the slang and it's not too cringy in my opinion. Literally made me cry so many times. Its scary that this is still happening today, 3 years later. I think this is a good representation of what these kids can go through. It is a great watch for everyone, students, parents, grandparents etc.
The Fallout should be a guide for many reasons. A guide for politicians. A guide for directors. A guide for the world. All for different reasons. Superb.
It was a good filim which tells us about a tragic story of a students who survived in shooting in thir school Filim give a good valve
The Fallout is a profound story of grief, tragedy, and trauma, and it exceeds expectations with subtle but powerful scenes. Jenna Ortega absolutely murders in this film, and is able to convey subtle emotions. An excellent example of “less is more”.
Subtlety powerful. Overwhelmingly painful.
