The Goldfinch Reviews
A little long but did enjoy it. Obviously, book was better.
They did well my advertising Finn Wolfhard 😩 my daughter only wanted to watch it because she seen he was in it. She ended up falling asleep in the theater
Emotional and well done. I read the book and really enjoyed the movie.
I was very pleased with this film adaptation. I felt that the script was smartly executed, and in my opinion it even fixed many parts that were overelaborated/redundant in the book.
Fabulous story. Well acted. Academy award
I read the book so could follow the movie. Left out some important info that could confuse those that did not read the book
I really enjoyed it and liked the ending!
A little slow at times, but over all a very good movie.
The movie was extremely slow. I read the book and I was curious on how they could make a movie based on the book. But I thought the acting was amazing.
I thought the movie was very well done. I really enjoyed it.
Very disappointed. The book holds so much emotion and I felt the movie was extremely flat. Luke Wilson is great as the father but that was the only character that I felt was real. The last scene was great but other than that, my favorite book was not given the translation it deserves.
This is a very good movie. Well acted and well written. I didn't read the book, so I didn't come to the film with any preconceived assumptions. I would highly recommend this film to anyone who would like to see a fresh and deeply moving film experience. .
Amazing- one of those movies that Everytime you watch it you find or see something new.
It was a great storyline but it just went on a little too long ,great movie..
Stayed true to the book, got me thinking about the theme of good coming from bad, evoked sympathy for the millions of damaged children in the world.
So depressing in the first 2 minutes my date asked to leave. And she picked the movie.
It was choppy and some ideas were never followed thru on.
Although slow moving, really thought provoking and interesting!
Great story. Great performances. Great cast.
Good, but too much left out from the novel.
