The Greasy Strangler Reviews
Ricky Prickles. The last time I saw him he called me "fatty boom boom". This movie crosses many boundaries on purpose, and does everything in it's power to offend the audience. Hilarious.
This movie is basically the equivalent of watching 2 girls one cup for an hour and a half straight. It's not a smart film or creative but you can't stop watching out of sheer disbelief of how repulsive it is. I will at least give it credit for originality but then how hard is it to think of the most ridiculous scenarios that don't even really make sense and put them in a movie?
This is actually the greatest movie of all time. Not everyone can access this truth, there’s a bit of a firewall that some cannot cross. If you’re on the level though, you can witness this magnificent sumptuous feast of a movie for what it truly is.
Gets 5 stars for originality, humor and acting. However, subtract 1 and 1/2 stars because of the disgusting overemphasis on oil and grease. I had to look away from the screen several times. I think I am feeling sick...
Something about it made me watch it until the end, probably the weirdest movie I’ve ever seen.
Possibly one of the greatest documentaries of all time. Hard to fault, hard to watch, hardest I’ve ever been
Perfectly ridiculous.
This was super fun. It is DEF. for a certain crowd. It will miss a lot of people. It is like Napoleon Dynamite level. x100. Watch lit. 4*
This movie is an exercise in absurdity. A pursuit of the bizarre. If you are strictly a mainstream movie goer, this unfortunately may not be the flick for you. But if you can let go of all your inhibitions, and just enjoy it for the wonderfully weird, silly raunchy flick that it is...you're going to have a good time...and you won't even be sure why. Which honestly, is just part of the overall experience.
This movie is a masterpiece watch it twice a year love it has been a great way to get start a conversation and bond with people and forever dispute with my boyfriend.
Hilariously weird, like WTF weird, unique, oddball, love it. Something outside of the Hollywood garbage.
Was crying laughing from beginning to end. Seen it 4 times. Makes me laugh every time. This is a unique comedy that I adore.
Like nothing I've seen before.
This is by far the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. WHAT DID I JUST WATCH. I will never be the same. Unforgettable. RIP Oinkers. #Potato
Haven´t laughed so much in years. They must be doing something right..
This is movie like no other. I have watched all kinds of movies. I like finding the weird and wonderful hidden treasures away from typical Hollywood movies. And this gave me everything. !!! I never have expectations. Because I can fully enjoy a film for exactly what it is… and I thought this was brilliantly stupid. Hilarious. Dark and just fun! And has fantastic music! I couldn't stop laughing. And at times severely grossed out.. I loved it! If you have an odd sense of humour and are up for a laugh! Go for it!!! If you take films too seriously then pass. But you are messing out!
I guess that this movie is a slasher if it's anything. I mean, I have no idea how to really categorize this film, which tells the story of Big Ronnie and his son Big Brayden who run a disco walking tour for a living when Ronnie isn't eating food that's filled with grease and then covered with grease. And then he goes out into the dark night and strangles people, then gets naked and cleans off all that grease in the car wash. Look -- if a movie where people's eyes cartoonishly being popped out of their head and then cooked, as well as numerous gigantic cocks, offends you, perhaps there are many more movies to watch. For some reason, Ronnie loves to inflict misery on his son, killing his friends, taking his girl and making fun of his dream of being a science fiction author. The only way that they can bond is, by the end, covering themselves in grease, strangling people and being killed by a firing squad. Yeah, it's not for everyone. Somehow, director and co-writer Jim Hosking followed this up with an even more impenetrable movie, An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn. That's an incredible accomplishment.
Slightly funny, very weird, and disturbing. It was interesting which is why I kept watching but I wouldn't recommend.
