I really enjoyed this movie it's so good. I found it very entertaining and heartfelt. I liked how the family survived the tsunami and reunited with each other. I thought Ewan McGregor did a great job in this movie. I highly recommend this movie it's worth watching.

After 20 years, the film remains vivid and haunting. I’m grateful the family has survived, serving as a testament to preserving the memories of those who lost their lives. It’s no small feat. However, I can’t help but wonder about the stories of the poor and powerless. This film focuses on the privileged few who could afford to transfer to Singapore's top hospitals, but what about the countless others who had no such resources or support?

This movie is a masterpiece, amazing cast, great acting, sad, emotional, heroic, devastating, happy, every type of emotions.

Devastating- this movie will wreck your nerves and make you super anxious because you so quickly care for these characters. Realistic gore, horror of a natural disaster, and also the relief that comes when finding your loved ones. This film's practical effects are also crazy impressive- immediately during the tsunami scene my partner and I wondered how they did it, and we thought a massive wave pool with a green screen on a huge scale, and although that is accurate the images of the set are insane. I cannot believe how much of this film is practical effects. Its truly incredible.

This movie was incredibly filmed and looked as if you were there experiencing this natural disaster! This movie is something I will watch over and over again and not get tired of it! I would recommend this to people who want to watch true stories! Again, so good! Incredible!

I thought this movie was horrific!! It showed all the cuts and scrapes, also all the dead people were coloured!! It was so disturbing. I had trouble getting it out my head for days!! I had awful dreams about it as well, if you want to be scared watch this!!! Also it's a 12+ I cannot believe they put that rating on their!! I watched 12+ when I was 9, I would have been permanently traumatised if I had watched it at that age!!!

The acting in this one was pretty good overall. Did not know this was based on a true story so this did capture my attention. Honestly felt pretty slow for the most part but it was still an overall good film.
