The Internship Reviews
Starts well, before it turns into the weirdest and longest advert you’ll ever see. Watched on DVD.
Enjoyable and heartfelt, worth a watch.
But honestly, did we really need that Quidditch match? It felt unnecessary and dragged on longer than it should have.
Having watched this for the first time in 2025, the movie wasn’t what I was expecting. I enjoyed the story and dynamics between the characters and this light comedy movie is actually something I would like to see more often
One o f my favourite films
I’m not sure why this got so many bad reviews either but I really enjoyed the movie.
One of my favorite movies not sure why rating so low. Good story in my opinion.
I can't believe all of these reviews I'm reading on the line. This movie was hilarious - whenever I sit down with my salsa, chips, pudding, sushi and ice cream to enjoy this movie, I laugh more and more each time.
I can see the direction there going with this film but the gags, humor, references and weak acting drag this whole movie down.
Even though it is a Google Ad it isn't a complete dissapointment. It's pretty cool to see the inside of the Google HQ! Vince and Owen compliment each other well whenever they are in movies together.
Good movie, will Ferrell is a pretty good mattress salesman in it. Not sure why the wife left at the start when he didn't have money and blamed him for being lazy when she didn't say what she did. Good movie to boost the google stock price though.
I generally love the actors in this film. But they were so obnoxious. I found myself screaming shut the f up. My brain melted watching this. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
This is another in a seemingly endless series of crowd-pleasing comedies that I find virtually humorless. I don't mean to be a curmudgeon - I want to laugh as badly as the next person. But my sense of humor does not react favorably to bland, predictable, formulaic films that don't even try to interject a bit of originality or spontaneity. Ironically enough, this movie feels like it was created by a Google algorithm rather than human creativity. It doesn't help matters that I don't respond well to Vaughn - an actor I don't think I've ever truly liked in a movie. He always comes across so hostile and disinterested. I can tolerate Wilson a bit more mainly because of his association with Wes Anderson. I will admit the pair have good chemistry between them, but it feels pointless in a movie like this. And Byrne has proven herself to be such a brilliantly funny actress that it's a real shame to see her saddled with one of the most banal characters of her career. There is not a single standout in the cast - these may be extremely talented people, but you can't tell here. Max Minghella's character is reprehensible, and Josh Brener gives one of the more irritating performances I've seen recently. I look forward to forgetting about this one rather quickly.
Cheesy, predictable character development and an absolutely lovely fun movie. I was very glad to have seen it and really enjoyed it.
Surprisingly cute. Pretty much just a repeating joke, boomers and millennials not getting each other, but it was a fun movie to pass time.
Bland unrealistic American dream crap.
Nice Sunday afternoon Comedy.
