The Lesson Reviews
A real mystery with an unexpected ending. Movie held your attention as the subtle suspense increased until the ending. Interesting characters that kept you focused on what the ultimate ending would be. Enjoyed.
Drags a bit but once it gets going it grabs your attention. Nothing new but as the film says theres no original ideas anyway
I found the story engaging. The actors were wonderful.
Slow, difficult to follow. Warped writer
Really good flick in this age of blockbuster sci fi or horror movies. Quiet, thoughtful, intriguing movie with fabulous actors in a lovely setting.
Loved the easy pace of the movie. Fleshed out characters and a twist that you never see coming. I'll admit this "slow" film will not be for everyone but if you love film see this one.
This business of "stealing" a writer's unfinished novel by a friend or family member seems to be a popular subject recently In the last few months, I have read two books, one excellent and one not so good, on this subject, so I was interested to see what they do with the subject in the movies! It is very well done, a well-written script, good acting....and great cinematography. Go see it and enjoy!!
Great story! Acting was good. It was a bit slow for the big screen.
Who's messing with narcissism in these jousting mind games. Richard E, Grant is terrific fun as a selfish narcissist. Julie Delpy and Darryl McCormack and Stephen McMillan are great.
More drama than suspense, but really well done and kept my attention throughout. All 3 actors were great!
Great story and wonderful cast. Performances were amazing.
Forgettable, boring.
One of your reviewers gave away the ending! I saw the movie anyway and liked it.
The ending—the drowning at the end seemed fake. Glad I saw it.
Slow moving fun ending.
Interesting plot and characters but slow.
