Every time I watch a Wachowski film I’m reminded that they really don’t have the ideas, taste, or craft needed to make a good film. The Matrix: Resurrections should have stayed buried a little longer.

Hey look....I didn't like the ending of the third movie. Grew up with Matrix 1 through 3. The end of 3 always left me feeling kinda bitter. While this one wasn't perfect by any means, when Trinity screamed "Neo!" And Neo screamed back "Trinity", that made the whole movie for me. I don't need anything else. I'm a happy camper and I appreciate that I got to have that closure. The Matrix movies literally shaped my life. This one was for the hard core fans, who needed that closure, who desperately wanted to see Trinity and Neo one last time, however, whenever, in whatever circumstance. It was a good ending for my favorite franchise. It deserved it. We all did.

Can’t believe I wasted my time on this. No story line just a money grab

Shifted from the wachoswskis to Lana. Makes sense cause now the woman was supposedly the one. Heh heh heh. This feminine crap is ruining everything. They just can’t let a movie stand on merit. Everything now has to be about equal rights and women being able to do everything. I get it but it ruins movies that already had established a foundation.

It's a multimillion dollar Mockery , A poor parody execution of a great triology. Insulting the legacy they left behind. Each frame in first hour is an eyesore , later on seems to go as one would expect from a MATRIX movie. Not a shred of originality. No tone , No mood , No acting . A colorful morpheus ? that's my que to get out the show.

It's the second best in the series. Only the original is better. Director did excellent work. The acting was rock solid and action was very well done . Writing was hot and cold. The story has some very high points and some very middle of the road points. I think it is a good not great restart to the film series and a taste of better things to come.

It did not due justice to the first three stories. Writing and plot needed a lot more work, it just didn’t make sense. Sadly the story seemed very rushed and not well thought out. Morpheus missing was a let down. For such a great franchise a huge disappointment. Keanu and Carrie were great.

Absolute crock of sh*t!!! They've absolutely destroyed the story and made it into some weird marvel hybrid. SO unbelievably disappointed. I'm surprised KR and CAM signed up to this, the other original cast were wise/lucky to stay the hell away from this.

Resurrections was a brilliant addition to the series. It more than made up for the let down of part 3 of the series. The W’s wove a logical tale that provided good flow and logic throughout.

I hated this movie. It sucked so bad it made me not want to get 2 or 3 and just stick with the original. How to make a Top 10 Movie of all time and then ruin it's art by making sequels which weren't any good. Suppose someones gotta pay for the wachowski's sex changes.

Nailed it. I love all 4 films but particularly loved how this brought in new energy and a new generation to the series. Congrats to all involved.

This movie is a bad comedy

The most pathertic and ridiculous story that feels like some kind of reboot. A bunch of silly and absurd none sense jokes that gives no serious sense to the movie, compared to the classic trilogy Matrix 1, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions. A huge waste of time and disappointing feeling comes if you're a classic trilogy fan

In an interview afterwards Laurence Fishbourne said the producers never asked him to be in it. Hugo weaving wasn’t available. Instead of the two most charismatic characters by a mile they recast them with generic actors with no charisma whatsoever - particularly smith… that guy looked like a soap opera actor. As others have said, boring story, stupid making trinity one of ‘the two’, and the slapstick cheesiness of the ending was insulting to the franchise.

"Matrix Resurrections" is one of the most boring films I have seen in a long time. The first Matrix-film made cinema history and will still be enjoyed in fifty years. Everything that followed is very forgettable!

I actually really liked this. It definitely wasn't because the action was necessarily better than what came before. The ideas were great and brought up questions of free will, but instead of being against determinism it was more about control disguised as determinism.

Total disappointment. Could have been so much better if Neo was in it instead of John Wick!

An absolutely awful and derivative artwork showcasing some of the worst nepotism in Hollywood. Uninspired characters, and rehashed and recast characters with no respect for fans, blatantly plagiarized scenes from their own series, really shitty hammy acting.
