The Muppets Reviews

TA buena la película de muppets

Mar 22, 2025

The Muppets (2011) is a heartwarming revival that captures the essence of Jim Henson's beloved creations. The film's self-referential narrative reflects the Muppets' hiatus, adding depth to their comeback story. Jason Segel, who co-wrote and stars, brings genuine enthusiasm, complemented by Amy Adams' delightful performance. The musical numbers are both nostalgic and fresh, with the Muppets' signature humor shining throughout. While some gags may feel simplistic, the film's charm and sincerity make it a joyous experience for audiences of all ages.

The Muppets never exactly left, they have always been around. But this movie proves exactly why that is a fact. With a very emotional storyline of reuniting, rekindling passion, and finding out who you are, this movie can get into some teary-eyed territories and hit close to home. The Muppets have always been a sign of love, friendship, and unity between all of them and their different kinds, and this movie showcases it in a beautiful way. It is certainly a love letter to Jim Henson and the characters he and Frank Oz built for us all those years ago. This movie is one I have always looked back on fondly, and I will be glad to see it again in the future.

its amazing to see the Muppets again in top form even after a decade 12 years have passed and it seems like the world has forgotten all about the warm-hearted, loving Muppets but this movie has dozens of your favorite characters come back in the most unexpected of ways Jason Segel and Amy Adams contribute somewhat to the main plot, and Walter seems pretty cool its a shame though we don't get re-introduced to the many Muppets that touched a generation of audiences long ago the songs for me didn't stick one bit, but the numerous amount of cameos made me smile and believe that celebrities such as the Muppets themselves still hold a special place in us all the plot could have used some more originality behind it but the kids along with their parents will cheer for joy for the most part

I don't know a single person, who didn't grow up watching the Muppets. It brings back that childhood nostalgia for most of us, gives that old school vibe while also bringing new school. I loved it, my son loved it. It's definitely for a musical person, as well as a fan of the Muppets.

I mean as far as I’m concerned this was seriously a fantastic film, maybe more screen-time of me would be nice but either way this was still super fun and I think that I’m not the only one who has sung “Man or Muppet” at the top of my lungs about 1400 times. I would put money on that being the most reminded part of this movie easily! Good stuff 🙂‍↕️-Mr.Kermit

This was the very first movie I have ever seen. Without this childhood masterpiece, I would have never fallen in love with movies in the first place. So thank you Muppets 2011. For inspiring me to fall in love with cinema. 😊

Gary, played by Jason Segel, and his twin brother, played by a new muppet Walter, must try to get the muppets back together again to save their old theater. This film is a wonderful blend of quality music, great writing and nostalgia. Most of the songs in the movie were written by Bret McKenzie and work really well within the story. My favorite, “Pictures in My Head”, was written by Jeannie Lurie, Aris Archontis and Chen Neeman and perfectly captures what any muppet fan has been thinking for the past forty years. In addition “Man or Muppet” won an Oscar for best original song. There is a lot of self-referential humor and mis-direction gags in this film that are all well written and right up the muppet’s alley. The writing also pulls the nostalgia string by referencing The Muppet Show and the first Muppet Movie. A well crafted movie with a lot of love put into it, I highly recommend checking it out!
