It has a creepy atmosphere, a potential for remarkable horror but failed. It could have been better if there was a good ending.

A very creepy and haunting ghost / possession story. Fantastic performance from the lead (Rose Williams) with a pretty good supporting cast. An intriguing story underpins this gripping movie that is well worth your time.

Um bonito roteiro, com várias camadas desenhadas numa trama de terror. A protagonista tem ótima atuação e realmente cativa. Fotografia e figurino muito bem construídos. Minha nota só não é máxima, pois o fim, mesmo sendo bem interessante, não considero que foi bem editado.

"The Power" of overcoming the your fears, "The Power" of overcoming the darkness and "The Power" that (some) men have held against women for thousands of years. This movie had so many levels! These are the kinds of movies that keep the horror genre alive. Solid 8.5/10.

I love suspense, horror, etc. movies. but this movie disappointed me since the story had potential but they didn't know how to take advantage of it. the effects were not so good. The actress did well

Don't understand the low score. This was like one of those old school 70s-80s type horror flicks. Back when the genre produced movies of substance. The lead character gave an amazing performance and the immersive scenary and score set the tone for one of my top 5 horror movies of the past year.

Outstanding performance from the main character. Most of the unsettling moments come from the horrors that happen in the hospital's night shifts, where darkness prevails due to power cuts. A great British movie with a strong gothic environment.

Aburrida hasta más no poder, el doblaje al latino nefasto. Temática sumamente explotada, y en esta película muy mal ejecutada. Ni sus screamer logran generar interés. Nada recomendable.

This is a new favorite of mine. It has "A haunting in Connecticut" vibes. Trigger warning: SA. It has a nice little twist at the end that you don't see very often. I enjoyed it very much.

A very dissapointing film. Like many other films this past decade, its trying to use horror elements as a symbol for real life tragedies and it fails miserably. The buildup of the first half of the movie is quite solid but half way there it loses focus and starts combining different horror techniques quite randomly. (darkness, possession). It becomes quite predictable and the ending feels very.... very rushed. There is nothing left to the imagination about what could be or not. Once you figure this movie out, (believe me you will) it has nothing else to offer you. Its a shame because the setup and the beginning of the film sounded very promising. I would suggest ''The Amulet'' since it succeeds where this film fails. Using horror as a metaphor for tragic events.

What a discovery, one of the best horror movie of the year. Starting on pretty conventional grounds and common dark corridors scares and ends up being something really original. The pretty basic first act does not prepare you for what is coming in a totally immersive second act that is one of the best written and directed in any movie; that let you fully enjoy the terror of a spooky night in an hospital. The central performance is out of this world on every level, a knockout performance that unfortunately will not get the consideration it fully deserves. The direction is also elevating an already original script but a great construction of scares and fear. And even with all that good it has time to insert some dramatic elements and social commentaries. A must see.

I really enjoy the 1st and 3rd act, not much fan of the spirit girl ruin Val's life tho, but I always like a good revenge movie.

The Power goes out at night and bad things happen at this hospital in the 70s. The ghost of a girl is back to be heard and to take care of her abuser.

A movie with two equally horrifying stories ! Not your regular forgettable horror flick. But a movie with a purpose and a matching potential. Strong acting and visuals. Movie is underrated.

The film does a lot of things right and there's a lot of good horror, I just didn't understand what the film was entirely trying to do/say and I didn't fully follow the story. 6.15/10 C+

IT was an okay movie. Did not live up to the hype that it created initially. Same old same old that was attempted in a not so different way.

The setting the atmosphere and acting are great, but with a predictable and weak plot that you see coming from a mile away with cheap jump scares thrown in to call it a horror movie.

Every male in the movie is predictably painted as villainous, despicable, and perverted. The plot doesn't feel like it's anything new and it tries so incredibly hard to be scarier than it actually is. The jumps are cringy and the characters are paper-thin. There was some great potential for some really unsettling scares and it falls so insanely flat. The movie wraps up with one of the most eye-roll inducing endings I've seen in a very long time.

yeah this is alright; it's nothing original & there's maybe something missing to make it really stand out, but it's not a bad watch at all. i probably wouldn't recommend it, but i'm not mad i watched it.
