The Santa Clause 2 Reviews
On Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Vixen! On Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen! On Chet! Yes - Chet. Remember - Seeing isn't believing. Believing is seeing.

It simply feels like a marketing opportunity, without the sincerity and genuine warmth the Christmas season represents.

Sure, it's cotton candy movie making with a totally predictable outcome. If you want a cranky Christmas, there's always Bad Santa. It's also not as funny as the original, but it's still entertaining.

Sweet? Yes. Sentimental? You bet. But like all the best Christmas pictures, this doesn't let the schmaltz swamp the wit or the charm - and has a sledload of both.

Despite the obviously mercenary nature of this sequel, there's a thimbleful of clever ideas at work here, most notably in the way Allen's RoboSanta begins to turn his toy factory into a tiny dictatorship.

A rancid Christmas. [Full Review in Spanish]

I loved Tim Allen in The Santa Clause. It was a perfect match for his self-effacing humor. And he's even better in Santa Clause 2.

...more of a high-tech extravaganza than a touching fantasy.

Fun for those for whom Hogwarts or Middle Earth are a little too tiring or scary, a cinematic lump of coal for everyone else.

Amazingly, the film juggles all the elements well without being messy, instead playing fair and tying up all the loose ends.

The Santa Clause 2 is chock full of heartwarming holiday cheer.

...stocks itself with unoriginal and cheap slapstick violence, cloying performances and ridiculously forced sight gags and smirking jokes that wouldn't melt a snow flake on a Sears hotplate
