This film is so joyful, funny and inspiring that I feel like Ive been resurrected from the dead! I have immense gratitude to Ron and Russel Mael for all their hard work as well as to Edgar Wright for making this beautiful film. The fact that the Mael brothers have remained true to themselves and their artistic vision for 5 decades is in itself a truly brilliant victory. See this film. It will spark within you the desire to go forth and do great things.

Really good. A it too long

Phenomenal. This is the best music documentary Ive ever seen. I think anyone would enjoy it whether a lifelong, brand new, or yet to be Sparks fan.

Sparks is one of the Greatest most Innovative bands EVER and to have their story woven together by the genius that is Edgar Wright is Seventh Heaven...

Brilliant documentary about a criminally underrated band who are actually a magnificent work of art. Go see it and learn about some of the best music ever.

What an insane band, I mean, nuts. This is what inspired art should be.

45 years of rock history with an empathetic backstory.

Entertaining and fun look at a band I was aware of but then again not really aware of. Definitely not a talking-heads-type documentary!

Interesting movie about an obscure eccentric duo who have been working together writing and performing songs for 50 years. Very little commercial success, but apparently well-known among professional rock and pop musicians. The movie is superbly done by an expert at documentaries. We would have appreciated it more had we known more about the business. This movie will get very little attention from the general public, which is too bad because it is worth seeing.

Even if you are a new fan, like me, you will love to see how these brothers created an amazing long career in music and influenced so many other greats. This documentary is touching, funny and moving and should be seen by anyone who loves music. The brothers are creative and brilliant.

The Sparks Brothers finally got the attention they deserve. The movie had it all, animation, interviews and great performances. As always talent is an asset.

The Sparks Brothers is a great documentary. Thank you edgar wright right for beautifully directing this and making me aware of this cool band I've never heard of, I loved the music and I'm gonna get to know more about them now!

Brilliantly done documentary about a pair of genius brothers. This movie should win awards for art direction and best documentary.

Outstanding chronology of the band Sparks. This documentary whizzes by and doesn't seem like 2.5 hours at all. I actually wanted more. Clever mix of archival footage, interviews with Russell and Ron, interviews with famous fans and bands who have been influenced by them along with photos from throughout the Mael brothers' lives and of course ALL THE MUISC! Thank you to Edgar Wright for this look at Sparks that is as interesting as the band themselves.

This is a highly entertaining film whether you know Sparks' music or not.

It was tremendous . Another home run from Edgar Wright .

Any lover of classic rock and This is Spinal Tap will enjoy this film!
