The Titan Reviews
Started off slow but promising. As he changed, it started to jump in progress...like going under a single surgical procedure as a complete human and, within minutes, coming out of the surgery as a totally different being altogether with different skin, abilities, and absolutely nothing that liked like him originally. Then, somehow, he lost the ability to speak...or mouth words...or use his hands to communicate...like, wth happened? The writers get replaced and the new writers didn't know what happened prior to the surgery and didn't know he was human?!
It started so well, but then once they made the perfect evolution... they sent them home, erm did the writers forget that they'd created beings that couldn't live in our atmosphere?
just wow..if you like terrible movies, this is up there! Just dumb dumb dumb, then ridiculousness leading to a mind numbingly stupid ending! Loved it!
Complete waste of time.
How can anyone come up with such a bullshit, is unbelievable... What the hell.... What happened to the plot? The scenes are illogical, the story doesn´t flow logically. The writing sucks my ass. NOTHING ABOUT TITAN!!!!! There is even nothing about the Earth or our civilization collapsing or space whatsoever. Smtg about human experiments, but even I can see, that science and this film could not be further form each other. What happened to the ending????? Why is the graphics so bad. Why did this man lose his dick when he went on Titan? Why does every man-written bullshit movie need some superhero woman who saves them all the times and always sacrifices her life over some bullshit ugly man. Uggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
What. Did. I. Just. Watch? Horrible! Subjects volunteer to go into space to save Earth; some subjects make it through the process of evolving into and become fish??? One survives, decides to head to Titan. Nothing to eat, no way to reproduce, and this helps Earth how?! At some point the writers decided "why not", took another hit off the pipe and gave us this gem that can be passed down to the set of fools who have eaten glue.
Not good at all. Slow pace, no emotion, no acting, no script, no nothing.
Good slow burn thriller
There ara much better films of post human sci fi such as upgrade
The Titan had progressing potential throughout the beginning of its plot, however that potential soon turned to disappointment as the falling action destroyed all the good aspects the movie had originally put forth. The very end of the movie should've been changed and not what it ended up being which was just goofy.
Promising movie with a good start turned bland, uninteresting, and anticlimactic (mainly around the falling action).
Regardless of issues with plot or script… the acting was solid and it's an enjoyable watch. For movie-lovers I'd even categorize it as a "must watch". Entertaining concept/premise and solid acting all around.
Surprised by the low ratings..Loved the movie..
Literally the worst movie I have ever seen
when will we get a second movie for The Titan, I Loved it, clearly many people haven't found it to watch it, that's why there's a low score, it was amazing! #MovieThirst
Loved it!! Great action and love Sam W ❤️
As Earth's atmosphere teeters on the brink of collapse, humanity, rather than seeking to restore it, dares to play the role of the divine and embark on the audacious journey to artificially evolve humans capable of surviving on Titan. On the surface, this premise brims with potential intrigue. However, the actual execution proved to be lackluster, leaving viewers yearning for more, and the anticipated payoff fell short, as if borrowed from a different narrative.
Great comedy. The earth is dying on tv (the low budget apparently only covered some news footage) so Nato build a really nice housing estate and then spend their remaining resources on financing an Austin Powers style science project to turn the inevitable collection of best-of-the-best-but-yet-oddly-accepting-of-the-transparently-idiotic-plan into übermenschen who will be able to swim naked in the liquid methane seas of Titan...which is clearly exactly what humanity needs right now. Everyone looks confused. People turn into flying fish for no apparent reason, a lot time is devoted to sitting in artfully lit swimming pools, with weighty scientific explanations that would make an 8 year old raise their sceptical hand, and the script is just hilarious - so bad must have been almost impossible for the actors to keep a straight face which is probably why at some point we are informed that the main characters are now only able to communicate in ultra low frequency. So that they don't have to say anything. Or maybe the fish makeup wasn't flexible. Or maybe they went on strike at the pointlessness of it all. Who cares. I think probably if Will Ferrell had been cast as the chief scientist with Rob Schneider as cod-face, and they had made pseudo science just a little more credible, it could have been huge comedy hit. If this is the answer to global warming we are so f......d
It was a pretty good movie, up until the end. There's something about the way they wrapped up the last 20 minutes that just makes the movie feel off. It's an ok watch if you're into Sci-fi, and just want yo pass the time, there's nothing groundbreaking here.
