Sad state for Robert DeNiro

I found much to have a chuckle at in this movie and DeNero and the Kid shine, as well as the little girl who elicits a few laughs too! Also the other two old guys in this movie are hilarious too in their bit parts. I highly recommend this movie if you just want something light and easy. Just a bit of fun and nothing too serious! This movie is what you need in such times.

De Niro's acting has gotten bad over the years. He has lines are terrible. Could it be the writers or his acting? Regardless, his character was useless and made this movie bad.

Did Not Know this Film was in the making for three years and is a shame that it came out in a covid year because it seems like no one has seen this but it was very cool to see Robert De Niro in a Family Comedy Movie since he was in the unwatchable Godfather(1972) and definetly carried the movie alongside Uma Therman. The Pranks were cool and the dodgeball scene was fun but my gosh was the kid annoying and every time I saw his face he just bogged down this movie but overall its a good watch.

This is stupid, horrible, unfunny and disgusting. My depression got worse with this movie. Everything about this movie SUCKED. The characters and settings , while trying to look 2020 are stuck in the early 2000s, the characters are poorly acted and bland, and the plot is poorly stitched together. And the worse part, is that people actually LIKED this movie. I honestly don't get it. But hey, who am I to judge? Live the life you want to live, and let me never watch this movie again.

Dont waste your time. De Niro is in a free fall in movie land. Last good movie was Meet the Fockers. This guy needs to retire and stay there. Hes turning into Adam Sandler like his movies Jack and Jill just putting movies out there thinking someone will like it because hes in it. Yeah nope. Terrible.

Ignore the critics and watch this film with confidence! Don‘t they have a sense of humour? Robert deNiro has proved his comedic chops now time and again, Uma Thurman is a goddess and it has great supporting performances, with an overall moral message. Very high laugh per minute quotient!

Original and heart warming.

Fun enough, but not memorable.

The first time i watched this, i liked it fine. but as i thought about it more, the more i realized that this movie is truly one of the worst movies i have ever seen. It has annoying and down right despicable main characters, the usual stereotypes of the generations, unfunny and mean spirited gags, a terrible plot, over all the movie come's apart for really one reason. the grand kid is awful, after an incident where his grandpa is kicked out of a retirement home the parents offer the grandpa to move in with them. but that means that the grand kid has to give up his room and move to the attic. now if I were him then i would get some help and clean the attic and make it beautiful. but NOPE, instead of cleaning the kid blames the grandpa and every little thing that happens in this movie is all because this kid is in love with this room. THIS KID GOES WAY TO OVERBOARD, and i just feel bad for the grandpa. and guess what, the kid wins in the end. and wanna know the worst scene in the entire movie. it's where one of the siblings asks grandpa about the marbles in his jar. which the grandpa proceeds to explain to her that he and his DEAD WIFE picked them and collected them together. So the kid glues the jar to the table so when the grandpa picks it up, It shatters and the marbles go everywhere. just wow, this is one of the worst movies i have ever seen.

Just a very basic past time. I did expect just a little bit more with DeNiro, though it was obvious that it was a matinee (officially, a "family comedy"). At least Cleide laughed and thought that it was better than she expected.

I felt it really showed how kids have to deal with the OLDER generation moving in, even tho there is love, it's how they have to adjust. Great movie, great cast 👍

Quite 1-Dimensional Stuff, With The Laughs Aimed All At The Typical Slapstick Fare. The Occasional 1-Liners Tie It All Together..But Things Don't Really Go Anywhere Unusual.
