One of the best movies I’ve ever seen! With a very unique animation style! And a huge amount of comedy!

This movie is just so wacky and fun. It knows it's goofy and doesn't take itself all too seriously but it really works. The animation style is also really unique but really pleasing to the eye. The themes about found family are a bit on the nose, but so a are most film's themes. I'd definitely recommend a watch if you like silly films with really cool animation

It is a missed opportunity the movie could have been much better.

Ever since I saw this movie in 2020 when it came out, I have watched it over and over and over again. Probably around 12-15 times now. It never gets old! I guess the only thing that was kinda bad about it was that in the beginning, the act was pretty slow, but it gets better the further you watch it. Plus a lot of people really like the opening scene, but just a little slow for me. It’s just a fun little movie about things that some kids don’t have, good parents that care about them. I very much recommend this movie. IT’S GREAT!!!!

The Willoughbys is the most berserk movie I've ever seen, yet it works really well. The story about kids getting away from deranged parents is awesome! The animation looks stellar and the characters all have different things that all make them great. The singing isn't the greatest though. 9/10

I've probably watched this movie around 8 times now. Just, so comforting, yet, I don't have an explanation as to why.

The story is suitably loony and the voice cast is fine, but a lot of the humor just doesn't land. I will give them a hand, though, for trying really hard to get chuckles out of starving the children. I do love the visual design - The look and character animation draw a LOT from Chuck Jones' Warner Bros. cartoons.

Has great music but Tim gets annoying after a while

It is an amazing movie. I watched it a second time after 2 years, and I loved it once again. The singing is amazing, I now listen to the song occasionally. It does have a positive message if you really look for it and care about the film enough to do that. I would recommend watching it.

It's my favorite movie to watch when I'm bored out of my mind at 3am. When I saw this as a child for the first time I watched it over and over again, most children watch Frozen over and over, but me? I have watched Frozen 2 maybe 3 times in my lifetime. Meanwhile my totally accurate reasonable estimation of how many times I've watched this movie as somewhere in the double digits. My patient self waited for a movie that was relatable, funny and which has a sharp and clear story line, and that was this movie. The characters were bright and colorful, the characters I recommend this movie to anyone on this site, who is a child, or needs to distract one (or more)

My 4-year-old daughter chose to watch The Willoughbys for our family movie night, so I didn't really know what to expect. I didn't know anything about this movie. I was pleasantly surprised. The animation was interesting, and I recognized a lot of the voice actors. Also, despite the grim subject matter, this animated movie manages to maintain levity. It's similar to A Series of Unfortunate Events in that way. However, while it made me smile at parts, I didn't laugh much during this dark comedy. And the story was enjoyable, but mostly predictable. I wouldn't mind if my daughter chose to watch it again.
