Worst Horror Movie I Have Ever Seen. If I could rate this -5/5 stars, I would. Two hours of my life that I’m never getting back. Story was so bad. Like someone had hit a writers block and just randomly picked words from a dictionary to piece together without understanding the full context of them. There was no thrill, no anxiety inducing aspects. I couldn’t feel any sort of empathy for any character. Nothing about this movie was good. Ending was extremely unsatisfying. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother wasting time on this “horror movie”

The movie has a very slow pace, taking its time to build up for the climax. Its different to other horror movies in that way and I appreciate the setting

**** IS BLISS. If you appreciate deep, complex, and engaging charaterisations, this one is for you. Given my inability to sit still and watch an entire movie, it kept me glued to the screen. If you are after cheap Hollywood gore and cliches, you will abhor this movie and give it one star. I believe the low ratings are unfair. Let's face it, the masses want familiarity, surfaces, and quickies. I wish more movies like this exist.

I accidentally watched this movie twice. For the first two thirds, the movie is decent enough, although clearly forgettable. When I got to that last third and I remembered having watched this movie before, I just started laughing at myself for having wasted over an hour of my life watching this terrible movie, AGAIN!

Amanda Seyfriend is fantastic as usual, the story unfortunately is very much unoriginal. I kept seeing Amityville Horror, and The Shinning. Even with that, the curiosity of the history of the house, seeing it through Seyfried's characters eyes.

Oh it starts strong builds tension then it just goes into the mud and just stops. Like so many of these movies the just cannot figure out how to end the movie. Went from a fine 4 star movie to barely 2 stars.

Arranca bien pero se cae a pedazos hasta llegar hasta uno de los peores finales que vi en una película en toda mi vida. La historia es mala, básicamente Amityville pero sin los sustos y todas las cosas que la transformaron en un clásico. Demasiada sororidad y baja de linea, poco ritmo que mantenga al espectador interesado. Al menos las actuaciones están bien, lo que hace que por lo menos sea posible terminar de verla (eso si el final es asqueroso, creo que ya lo dije pero vale la pena repetirlo para dejar en claro lo pésimo que es).

A ghost story, but not too scary, a little jumpy in parts. It was a good watch, but I didn't rate the ending.

The cast was amazing and the actors did great for the role. The atmosphere was perfect, the sound design was great, and the scenery was gorgeous. The first two thirds of the movie was phenomenal and had me invested. The last portion was so much of a let down that it cannot be rated anything but 1 star. There was no justice, there was no final explanation, it just ended and it sucked. I hated that the main character died, but more than that I hated how she didn't get the justice she deserved. It's important for characters to have a resolution and I feel this resolution was awful. The motif was good and I enjoyed seeing it at the end, but then it had an unnecessary scene along with it. Awful movie.
