Its a bad look to do sexual assault stories and have your executive producer being someone who openly admits to sexual assault without repercussions. Mindy reminds me of my ex and it's disgusting that she's so widely accepted. Abuse is still abuse, even when the perpetrator is a woman or the victim is a man.

An inspiring story of fatherly love and defiance of cultural norms. The strength of the daughter and her fighting spirit is amazing. It reveals finding justice can be painful, but worth it in the end.

Exactly how things were in America 50 years ago. India is not so different from the world I grew up in. A movie that hit me hard.

Inspirational. Empowering. Will tug at your emotions. You know the kind of movies that will leave you staring into space thinking about the characters and the story of their journey long after the credits had come and gone? That's the kind of movie this is.

This documentary reminds us of cultural values, so different from ours, still rooted in many Eastern communities. So, witnessing such a painful struggle to face these values gives a lot of hope.

Such an inspiring strong daughter who with her father, family and the help of Srijan Foundation an NGO they fight against narrow minded village culture and seek justice. Very hard hitting and so sad the customs continue in the majority of rural villages today.

It was phenomenal, courageous, beautiful and intense. It's one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I'm so grateful for the courage of this family to stand for what they believe is right, and to make a difference in the world.

A really hard-hitting documentary, which throws light on the narrow minded beliefs and regressive notions of rural society and how a father against all odds fought for justice.

This is such an important documentary that everyone needs to see. After his underage daughter is gang raped, her father Ranjit supports her no matter what, even going against his Village. He wants to see the rapists brought to justice. I am so disgusted that this can still happen in modern times.

A 13-year old girl is gang raped and her father, Ranjit, is shunned and threatened by his Village because he has the unmitigated gall to support her and see that her rapists (one of whom is her cousin) are brought to justice. Rarely has a movie made me angrier than this. To think that this happens in modern day in a supposedly "civilized" country is appalling. This family shows incredible courage and I highly recommend everyone watch this Oscar-nominated Documentary.
