Love the original cartoon. The movie however, not so much but I enjoy every time they make a cartoon tornado!

Tom & Jerry had the potential to be a Roger Rabbit-like film that could’ve easily blended animation and live-action in a unique way. However, it falls flat due to poor directing. The film fails to honor Tom & Jerry’s cartoon legacy and instead focuses on making it a stupid kids’ film. Grading: D

How can you hate a most beloved tandem of our childhood?

This movie doesn't work as a verbal comedy, it doesn't work as a simple tom and jerry adventure and even the buffoonery doesn't save it because it's just repeating itself and maybe it's true that the only place for tom and jerry should be to stay short a little anyway this movie once again proves.

When it came out in cinemas, I went to see it. When the movie ended I thought to myself that "it was fine I suppose".

This style of film making has been done in past, with 1988's Who Framed Roger Rabbit. But the difference between those two is that one of them was made a lot more love and effort.

It was great and I enjoyed it because it made me laugh a lot. It brought back my childhood memories.

I sure hope you weren't wanting a movie about Tom and Jerry, cuz you better believe this movie is about a hotel planning and hosting a celebrity wedding. T + J had surprisingly little screen time, and very few good gags to work with... The live action cast...tried I suppose? But had lousy material too. I spent the whole movie thinking...why is this what we got?....Haven't I seen this in every other "Cartoons + real people" movie?...what did I do to deserve this? Am I in hell? I'm probably being overdramatic, but in no reality should T+J be not-funny. ...then again, when the movie started off with rapping pigeons...maybe that was a sign to just go watch the old cartoons instead.

I thought this one was surprisingly good.
