Triple Frontier Reviews
This movie will give you a run for your money definitely worth the watch military ops going after a criminals money good stuff love to see more like it
Great cast, mediocre movie, and the ending seemed like they ran out of money.
I went into this film with low expectations. The writing was bad, but the acting and gun fights made it worth watching - - but just barely.
I won't spoil the ending for you such as it is. That's 90 minutes of my life that I will never ever get back and believe me I'm pissed about it. My wife says "oh, let's try this." I told her that I would never let her pick a movie for me ever again.
Very predictable full of cliches action movie, to the point that it gets boring at times.
Confused at best. An amoral stew of logic and emotion best summed up in one of the final lines “Tell Molly he was a hero”.
Greed is a deadly sin, and Ben Affleck paid the ultimate price to teach us that lesson. Thank you Ben Affleck.
One of Netflix's best Originals, Triple Frontier is a fairly straightforward action-thrillers elevated by gripping action sequences, outstanding performances from the entire cast, visceral sound design and some stunning cinematography.
Good actors but a lacking screenplay. Couldn’t make it through to the end. No emotional investment with the characters and every decision they made was the wrong one which seemed utterly preposterous considering these were supposed to be the most disciplined men in their industry.
"Triple Frontier" follows a team of five ex-military men on a heist to steal the ill-gotten gains of a South American drug lord known as Lorea. The men reluctantly agree, but soon find themselves in over their heads. Throughout the film there are recurring themes of greed, as the men must decide how much money to leave behind to assure their survival. This feels a bit ironic. Here this is a story about risk and reward, where the movie itself takes very few risks and just delvers a pretty straight forward action film. The movie isn't bad. It is well cast, has a couple of good twists and plays an interesting game of morality. The characters are nothing memorable and none of the scenes stand out as that impressive. As long as Netflix is burning money, they might as well keep recording it for us to enjoy.
Absolute must watch. Star studded cast that delivers
Good asf bro, one of the best movies i've ever seen
I’d never heard of this movie and with a low audience rating didn’t expect much, however, it was a thoroughly entertaining action romp worth 2 hrs of anyone’s time. Yes, a few plot holes and a bit macho but good pace, great action sequences and not just a rehash of other heist plots.
The first half had good action sequences and set up. Then one horrible decision set up a not very good back half through the Andes and an unpleasant finish. Two stars for first half only.
Excellent romp well acted, has you on the edge of your seat
This one it’s a fine movie. Underrated I think. Great cast.
A guy movie through and through that, as unconventional as it is, manages to hit the marks one would expect.
Absolutely terrible screenplay. Had to fast-forward to get through it. So many dumb mistakes the characters made that it becomes an underwhelming comedy after a while. Such a shame because the plot could be decent especially given the cast.
I have literally no clue why people hate this movie and are hating on pedro pascal. this movie was really good and I want a part 2. pedro also did amazing in this??? in my opinion I want him in more movies and shows and I hope he signs more contracts for movies and stuff just to piss people off.
How did this get up to 70%?? It was painful. Ben Affleck was not the best choice and the characters didn't seem connected. The story was so far-fetched. It felt really forced. The opening action scene had me hopeful. Then it tanked. Waste of time.
